Implants, as we all know, are another option for missing teeth.
It is, however, cosmetic all-ceramic restorations that are becoming the most requested by patients.

With the popularity of makeover programs, more and more patients are presenting with varying problems such as discoloured, rotated, chipped or even missing teeth.

Patients are welcome at the laboratory for things such as shade selection and Stephen is more than happy to come to the surgery.

So many laboratories are now venturing into this specialised area because of the changes. It is vitally important that you choose a laboratory with experience in cosmetic dentistry. Knowing what is achievable and giving yourself and the patient realistic ideas of the finished result before any preparation has taken place.

Accurate diagnostic wax-ups and pull down stents can be used in the mouth to view a predictable outcome and aid preparation. This all needs experience.
