Winning “The 2009 Private Dentistry Awards” Best UK Laboratory Award completed an unprecedented run of success for the most awarded laboratory in the dental industry.

Specialists in Cosmetic, Reconstructive and Implant dentistry the pioneering laboratory impressed the judges with its commitment to provide ever higher standards for patients and clients. Its innovative patient education materials and high levels of customer service were also praised.

Tony Knight trained as a dental technician at Guy's Hospital, London. After qualififying Tony worked in the Restorative Departments of both Guy's and King's College Hospital for several years. In 1982 he established Knight Dental Design as a one man dental laboratory with Dorothy his wife providing part time support while working full time in personnel at St Thomas' Hospital, London.

Tony Knight is a judge of The Smile Awards and regularly lectures on Smile Design and Cosmetic Dentistry at events such as The World Aesthetic Conference, The British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Conference and the Dental Technology Show. In November 2010 Tony will be one of the first UK technicians to speak at the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry London meeting.
