On the day Joe Biden announced his step down, there is one thing we must have the courage to say: where were all those who brought him to this point? And, above all, in whose hands has the world been, not just the United States, in recent years? Because one thing is certain: the current president of the United States is not a person who had an illness two weeks ago, a stroke, any sudden trouble that brought him to the current state.
For years, at least two, videos of his slouching, his gaffes, his forgetfulness, his oddities have been going around the world and above all discussed. The Wall Street Journal at the beginning of June, well before the famous debate with Trump, had published an article with the famous 45 testimonies of the lack of lucidity of the man who occupies the Oval Office. An article that was obviously branded as “biased”, written by a Republican newspaper, full of falsehoods. Then came the debate, the collapse, and the first distancing; it is funny that of George Clooney who in June had organized a dinner to raise funds for Biden only to then ask, 3 weeks later, for his withdrawal. The same can be said for the Obama family, wife and husband, and the usual crowd of powerful friends (actors, singers).
Here. Where was everyone? Indeed, why were they lying to the whole world knowing they were lying?
Biden’s human and consequently political weakness has been evident for some time, especially to the most cunning, the powerful. Hundreds of geopolitical experts repeat unheard that Putin and Xi Jinping have understood the situation well and launched their war on the Western world precisely for this reason. With a strong US president all this would not have happened, perhaps starting with the war in Ukraine.
So who has been leading us Westerners for the past two years? Was the so-called Commander in Chief really such?
Political fandom is not only Italian, on the contrary. Even in the US, rather than a right-winger, anything goes; even a man in difficulty, shaky, weak. And who is now being chased away by his own, without any respect.
