These are the words posted with a letter on X with which Joe Biden announces his withdrawal from the race for the White House.
A news that has been expected for days, after the controversy even within the Democratic Party, and the calls from numerous political figures and not only for a step back by the US president.
In his letter, Biden indicated his running mate, Kamala Harris, as his candidate.
