US Elections 2024: The Polls

Polls are one of the central themes of the electoral campaign for the US presidential elections next November. Until yesterday, Trump’s advantage over Biden was clear, but it was the data coming from the so-called “key states”, with the Republicans clearly ahead of the Democrats, that advised Joe Biden to withdraw from the race.

Now everything reopens, starting from scratch. And even if there is no sure name of the Democratic candidate at the moment, there are already several experts who are talking about an advantage for the candidate who will emerge from the Chicago convention.

But for example, there are findings on Americans’ appreciation for Kamala Harris, the likely Democratic candidate for the presidency.

The only national poll conducted on a possible Trump-Kamala Harris clash, on July 18 (You Gov for CBS) sees the Republican ahead by 3 points, 51% to 48%.
