About seventy dolphins, including several specimens with puppies, have been sighted in recent days in the Gulf of Asinara during a project monitoring exit The cetaceans of the Castelsardo canyon. The observation was carried out by researchers of Sea Me Sardinia, an association engaged in the study and protection of the marine fauna of Northern Sardinia.
The group was identified while swimming compact in the waters in front of the Gulf, an area of high biodiversity. The presence of children next to adults is considered an important indicator of the health of the population.
