The temperatures touch 40 degrees and the structure runs for cover
The week of August in the grip of the heat. The summer returns to be hot because of the return of the African anticyclone Caronte. Throughout Italy the temperatures have risen to touch, only in Rome, 40 degrees in the hottest hours. For this reason, the bioparch of the capital has provided for the distribution of iceboxes for the animals hosted inside. Foche, launte, sumatra tigers, lemuri and all other species will have the opportunity to refrigerate thanks to special fruit, meat and fish iceboxes. “It is not the first year that these temperatures are recorded. We have seen that there are no serious problems or suffering with our animals”, reassures the zoological manager of the bioparco, Yitzhak Yadid. The majority of the animals hosted inside the bioparch of Rome, “manage to endure the best heat of man”. Despite everything, however, the structure provides for the distribution of glacier with fruit, meat or fish inside.
