The photographic campaign for spring-summer 2026 focuses on the most representative frames of the eyewear brand: Zilo, Macho and Cooper.
There are objects that have marked the history of design. In eyewear, this translates into distinctive shapes that manage to interpret the contemporary without aging. And Lozza knows something about it. The brand belonging to the De Rigo group, in fact, which is the oldest brand in Italian eyewear, has designed timeless frames, capable of dressing the most transversal personalities, from Fausto Coppi to Mika. For summer 2026 Lozza has chosen to enhance its Legends, namely the Zilo, Macho and Cooper frames, with an exclusive photographic campaign entrusted to the lens of Scott Schuman, street style photographer of The Sartorialist. In this interview Stefania De Marchi, brand manager of Lozza, explains the reasons that led to this choice.
Request. Three timeless icons in front of the lens of a contemporary artist, what unites these ways?
Answer. These frames are our Legends, which have always been with us. Zilo, for example, was designed in the 1930s and has never been modified. Macho and Cooper are more recent, born between the Seventies and Eighties and have never aged. These three references have a timeless component, which makes them always current. We therefore wanted to pair them with those who interpret today to bring out this characteristic of theirs. Scott Schuman has invented a new way of photography, which reflects the style of the street and everyone’s identity. From the meeting between timeless heritage and current vision, a portfolio of different shots was born, which convey the personality of the subjects and the ability of Zilo, Macho and Cooper to blend together and appear perfectly contemporary
Q. How did you choose the subjects to photograph?
A. Just as the frames are not special editions, but original ones, we also wanted the protagonists to be real people, with a life and their own characteristics. Scott, therefore, chose them among his acquaintances and his friends in the world of fashion and creativity, independent personalities with a defined personality that our glasses have enhanced to the fullest
D. Zilo, Macho and Cooper are objects that have defined the history of eyewear design and have been worn by many personalities…
A. They are so versatile that they lend themselves to accompanying the most diverse personalities. You can find them in the wardrobes of celebrities, but also in that of family members, whether they are recent or vintage, they look good and give that little something extra to any look. Of course, Fausto Coppi made history by wearing the Zilo model, however, we often see our models worn spontaneously by entertainment and music personalities. Just to give a couple of examples, we know that Mika loves our Macho and Marco Mengoni loves Cooper.
