The daily gesture of self-care becomes a design experience between perfumes, light and immersive installations. Beauty redefines contemporary design at Milan Design Week
In recent years, Milan Design Week has stopped being just the stage for industrial and furniture design, to transform itself into an increasingly hybrid territory, where different languages meet and contaminate. Among these, beauty has carved out an increasingly central space for itself, no longer relegated to superficial aesthetics, but recognized as an integral part of contemporary design.
Perfumes, skincare and make-up enter the exhibition spaces with the same authority as design objects, interacting with architecture, installations and materials. The result is a broader sensorial story, in which the daily gesture of self-care becomes a design experience, capable of activating memory, emotion and perception.
