Achille Lauro lights up the sixty thousand at the Olimpico

Over 60 thousand people for a show that retraces Lauro’s artistic journey and his connection with Rome

Achille Lauro performed at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, in front of over 60 thousand spectators. The concert, which took place yesterday evening, was constructed as a journey through the different phases of the artist’s repertoire, alternating music, stories and references to his city.

Rome continues to occupy a central role in Lauro’s imagination and in the narrative that accompanies his artistic journey. In recent years the singer has repeatedly chosen symbolic places in the capital for some of his public initiatives, including the performance in Piazza di Spagna on the occasion of the release of Love and the one at the Trevi Fountain linked to the publication of the new version of the album Immortal Communes.

One of the most significant moments of the evening was Antonello Venditti’s arrival on stage. The two artists performed the new version live for the first time What a treasure you are. The meeting brought together two generations of Roman music, united by a strong bond with the city that has marked their respective artistic paths.

The Olimpico concert represents a new stage for Achille Lauro, in a journey that in recent years has seen him progressively expand his audience and experiment with different artistic languages, keeping Rome as a constant reference point for his production.
