From 25 September to 22 November 2026, the Gallery of 10 Corso Como hosts Viktor&Rolf. Spectrum, an exhibition that recounts over thirty years of haute couture through twenty iconic looks and an immersive installation dedicated to the dialogue between fashion and art.
After having redefined the boundaries between haute couture, performance and contemporary art for over thirty years, Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren finally arrive in Italy with a solo exhibition conceived as a single large immersive installation.
From 25 September to 22 November 2026, the Gallery of 10 Corso Como hosts Viktor&Rolf. Spectruman exhibition project that recounts the creative universe of the famous Dutch duo through a new interpretation, far from the classic retrospective and closer to a journey into their creative process.
The first Italian exhibition dedicated to Viktor&Rolf
The exhibition is part of the events with which 10 Corso Como celebrates its thirty-fifth anniversary and continues the path dedicated to the great protagonists of contemporary creativity. THE
The project was developed specifically for these spaces by Maison Viktor&Rolf and curated by Alessio de’ Navasques, professor of Fashion Archives at La Sapienza University of Rome and curator of the cultural program of the Milanese concept store.
Twenty dresses to tell the story of over thirty years of research
The journey brings together twenty haute couture creations created over more than three decades, selected from some of the duo’s most iconic collections. The objective is not to reconstruct their career chronologically, but to highlight references, evolutions and anniversaries that run through their entire production.
What emerges is the portrait of a creative language in continuous transformation but surprisingly coherent, capable of reinventing itself season after season without losing its identity. A research that has contributed to redefining the imagination of contemporary couture and which today is preserved in the collections of institutions such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Kyoto Costume Institute.
The title Spectrum it’s not random. In fact, the entire exhibition revolves around the concepts of mirror, reflection and correspondence, elements that perfectly describe the way in which Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren have always worked.
The clothes are displayed in pairs: not duplicates, but creations that interact with each other through formal analogies, variations and references. A system of relationships that reflects the principle of duality on which the duo’s work is based, capable of transforming each look into the counterpoint of another and the entire exhibition into a large narrative installation.
«Our work is like a laboratory, a place to experiment and develop ideas. Fashion has always been the fulcrum of our research: its codes, its appearance, its structure. Each new season offers us the opportunity to look at fashion from a different perspective”, explain Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren.
