Francesca Moratti, Cristina Bazzanella and Costanza Campari designed the holistic hub in via Manfredini. Try the Asana 22 and Restorative Yoga Nidra paths
According to findings from Business Research Insights, the global Yoga market in 2026 will be worth around 155.5 billion dollars with the prospect of reaching 276.7 billion dollars by 2035. In this context, around 78% of wellness-conscious consumers now integrate this practice into their weekly routines. In detail, in Italy it is estimated that over six million people, approximately 10% of the population, cultivate the Indian discipline, a figure that has tripled in the last six years. Many factors contribute to the success of yoga, from attention to mental well-being to the need to find a workout capable of being personalized. In this context, Casa Cosmica opens tomorrow in Milan, a container rather than a studio, which sets a new standard in the field of Yoga. Because at the basis of the project in via Manfredini 6, there is the idea of community. Designed by Francesca Moratti, Cristina Bazzanella and Costanza Campari, Casa Cosmica is a place where movement meets culture, spirituality dialogues with contemporaneity and relationships become an integral part of the experience.
The idea
«All three of us have a connection with Yoga, which has accompanied us in different phases of our lives», explained the co-founder, Francesca Moratti, «when we met we understood that we wanted to build something different, not the usual studio, but a more intimate reality, where people truly felt at the centre. Casa Cosmica was born from this desire and presents itself as a novelty in the Yoga panorama because it teaches the discipline in its various facets, Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Nidra, Aerial, but it offers the possibility of creating tailor-made paths such as our Asana 22 or Restorative Yoga Nidra, which respect the characteristics of the individual and allow him to achieve his goals without the typical stress of other centers. In addition to Yoga, it is possible to do Pilates Matwork, Barre, gentle gymnastics, as well as Ayurvedic treatments, physiotherapy, osteopathy, massages and counseling in the Oikos area. Furthermore, we are developing a calendar of cultural events, designed to bring the community together beyond practice: Casa Cosmica is a welcoming place, where values are shared and exchanged. We think that in a city like Milan, where pressure is normal and we live chasing the agenda, there is a need for a space where we can meet, a small welcoming square where we can gather.”
Asana 22 and Restorative Yoga Nidra
They are the signature paths of Casa Cosmica and respond to specific needs, «Yoga is first and foremost a philosophy of life, which combines practice and spirituality», continued Moratti, «it is not mass-produced, it must be studied and respected. In this direction we realized that everyone practices differently: every body is different, as are its history, its needs, its strengths and its fragilities. Therefore, we have designed a personalized sequence of 22 Asanas, which starts from a cognitive interview, from an individual lesson, which accompanies each person according to their own characteristics”. Not only that, in a hyperstimulated and demanding contemporary world – in Italy alone one adult in four has insomnia or sleep disorders – Casa Cosmica also offers a practice specifically designed for the recovery of the body and mind. «In our group there is an extraordinary teacher specialized in Yoga Nidra. With her we developed the Restorative Yoga Nidra path, which accompanies meditation. Thanks to the guidance of his voice, body and mind reach a state of profound regeneration. It is not a given that one falls asleep, but if it happens, consider that 40 minutes of this practice corresponds to two and a half hours of sleep, one feels truly reborn, abandoning that constant state of alert to which we are accustomed in favor of balance”, concluded Moratti.
