The investigation by the Ravenna Prosecutor’s Office is expanding: doctors accused of having falsely certified unsuitability to prevent the transfer of migrants to repatriation centers are being targeted
This is not an association of doctors concerned with ensuring the best care for patients, but a political organization intent on sabotaging a state law. The more the investigation by the Ravenna Prosecutor’s Office progresses, the more the ramifications of those who wear the white coat and behave like militants of an anti-government movement are discovered. Let’s be clear, criticizing Giorgia Meloni and her ministers is legitimate. And also to oppose within the perimeter of the permitted, if necessary: but not to violate the law.
A teacher (just to stick to an issue that is being debated at the moment, given that his classmates are already on a war footing) cannot decide for himself who to welcome into his class. And the same goes for doctors, who do not have the power to decide who to admit and who to reject based on political opinions. And therefore they cannot even claim the right to falsify certificates, certifying health conditions that are not real. Signing a document claiming that a person is not fit to carry out a function, confirming with his signature a pathology that does not exist, is a false public document. And if a group of public employees organizes themselves to sign dozens, if not hundreds, of fake documents, they have created a criminal association no more or less like criminal organisations.
The Hippocratic Oath requires that the professional in the white coat undertakes to defend the lives of patients, protecting their physical and mental health. By starting their activity, doctors promise to alleviate the suffering of a patient, respecting their dignity and freedom without discrimination. But nowhere is it written that the doctor must let his political conviction prevail and help a migrant destined for expulsion to deceive the law.
The legislation in force provides that the foreigner without the right to remain on the national territory (because he is not fleeing from wars and persecution or because he has committed crimes or because he is an illegal immigrant who has already received a deportation order) is held in one of the so-called detention centers for repatriation.
These are structures that exist in practically all European countries and which perform a specific function: to prevent the person to be expelled from becoming a bird of the forest and perhaps committing other crimes. The CPRs are not penitentiaries and those detained are not subject to prison rules: they can use the telephone, call whoever they want, but they cannot go for a walk, because their destiny is to go home.
Is it possible that, using the medical examination tool to ascertain any pathologies, there are doctors who declare falsely as they are against the expulsion of illegal immigrants and believe that the repatriation centers are concentration camps? Of course, the CPRs are not five-star hotels, but in the end the shortcomings denounced by some of these professionals with white coats and red hearts is the lack of TV in every room and a menu not reported by the Michelin guides. In short, apparently these are not places of torture. And yet, as we have demonstrated, what the Ravenna Prosecutor’s Office identifies as a criminal association had even prepared forms to declare the migrant’s ineligibility for transfer to the CPR. Not due to pathologies that made him unsuitable, but due to the feelings of the doctor himself. A conscientious objection, without declaring the conscientious objection and therefore accrediting the false, in some cases – for example in Tuscany – with 100% of the denials.
The most active on this front seem to have been the infectious disease specialists because, while in the emergency room the certificates were not contaminated by any ideological thought, the virus experts were contaminated by that of the immigrationist left, an infection which, as we have already seen in several cases, can cause serious damage to the health and safety of Italians. Therefore, the sooner the Africa sickness of certain doctors is cured, the better.
Ps. After the attacks and insults against the prosecutor in charge of the Ravenna investigation, the left-wing currents in the CSM were hesitant to defend their colleague. Generally, professional unions vigorously defend colleagues whose investigations are the subject of criticism. This time, however, they felt that the magistrate did not need their solidarity. With the result that, by supporting the suspects more than those who investigate, the category demonstrates that there are cases in which the protection of the independence and autonomy of an officer does not count.
