Three 200 megapixel cameras, a battery that promises up to two days of battery life and artificial intelligence capable of interacting directly with photographs and documents. OPPO is preparing to present the new Find X10 Seriesthe generation of high-end smartphones that will officially debut on October 21st in Mallorca, Spain, with the ambition to above all redefine the relationship between professional photography and mobile devices. Two models announced, Find X10 and Find
The declared objective is not only to increase the resolution of the sensors, but to create images that are increasingly faithful to what the human eye perceives, overcoming one of the contradictions of smartphone photography: the tendency of algorithms to make each scene brighter, sharper and more saturated than it appears in reality. A philosophy summed up in the expression True-to-Life Imagingwhich OPPO has chosen as the central element of the new generation and which finds application both in photographic hardware and in image processing software.
“Find X Series reflects our ongoing pursuit of excellence in mobile imaging,” said Pete Lau, Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer at OPPO. «Together with Hasselblad, we are taking another important step forward with Find X10 Series, bringing lifelike detail, color and tone to everyday photography. Just open the camera and capture the moment as you see it, without the need for additional settings.”
Three 200 megapixel cameras: OPPO’s photographic challenge
The most obvious technological innovation concerns the photographic sector, with a configuration which, at least on paper, represents an important leap for high-end smartphones. The Find X10 model integrates a Dual 200MP Camera System, developed together with Hasselblad, while the more advanced Find
The choice to use very high resolution sensors on all three focal lengths is particularly interesting because it aims to overcome one of the most widespread limitations in traditional phones, where photographic quality can vary significantly when switching from the main camera to the ultra-wide angle or zoom one. A system of this type could allow for greater uniformity in the rendering of details, regardless of the framing chosen, as well as offering more possibilities for cropping and reprocessing images.
Naturally, the number of megapixels alone is not sufficient to determine the quality of a photograph, which also depends on the size of the sensors, the optics, the light management and above all the processing algorithms. Precisely for this reason OPPO has developed a new generation of LUMO True Image Enginethe computational photography engine that combines information collected by cameras with color management systems designed to reproduce natural tones, details and contrasts.
The system integrates the True Color Camera and Master Mode features, with particular attention to the rendering of skin tones, skin tones and subtle textures, elements that often constitute the most complex testing ground for smartphone cameras. The promise is to obtain realistic photographs without having to manually intervene on the settings, leaving the algorithms the task of reconstructing an image faithful to the original scene.
This is an approach that aims to distinguish itself from more aggressive computational photography, even if it will be necessary to wait for the first field tests to concretely evaluate the results.
8K video is a feature designed for creators
The news doesn’t just concern photography. In fact, the new OPPO range introduces an important update also in video recording, with features aimed above all at video makers, creators and digital production professionals.
Find X10 Pro Max supports recording in 4K at 120 frames per second and 8K at 30 frames per second on all three rear cameraswhile Find X10 offers the same possibilities on the two 200 megapixel cameras. This means being able to take advantage of high resolutions and high frequency shooting even by changing focal length, increasing the creative possibilities when shooting.
Among the innovations announced there is also Open Gate Capture, a function that uses the entire acquisition area of the photographic sensor to record a larger portion of the scene than that foreseen by the final video format.
The advantage mainly concerns post-production: the same film can subsequently be cropped and adapted to different aspect ratios, going for example from a horizontal shot intended for YouTube to a vertical video for Instagram or TikTok, without necessarily having to record two separate versions.
It is a solution that intercepts a transformation that is now evident in content production, where smartphones are no longer used only for occasional photographs and videos, but have become work tools for communication professionals, journalists, filmmakers and digital creators.
7,150 mAh battery: up to two days without recharging
Alongside photography, OPPO focuses on another element that has become crucial when choosing a smartphone: autonomy.
According to the specifications communicated by the company for the Italian market, both Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max integrate a 7,150 mAh OPPO Silicon-Carbon batterydesigned to provide up to two days of typical use on a single charge.
Silicon-carbon technology represents one of the most interesting solutions in the development of smartphone batteries, because it allows for an increase in energy density compared to traditional lithium ion configurations with graphite anode, offering manufacturers the possibility of integrating high capacities without necessarily having to proportionally increase the overall dimensions of the devices.
OPPO also declares that the batteries are designed to retain over 80% of the original capacity even after five years of typical use, a fact that aims to respond to one of the most widespread concerns among consumers: the progressive deterioration of autonomy after numerous charging cycles.
However, these are values declared on the basis of the company’s laboratory tests, which may vary depending on the settings, methods of use and environmental conditions. Battery capacity may also be different in some international markets.
To support the new photographic and video features, OPPO has chosen the latest generation MediaTek processors, differentiating the two models based on performance.
Find X10 is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9600M, while Find X10 Pro Max will be among the first smartphones to integrate the Dimensity 9600 Pro made with a 2 nanometer production processa technology designed to improve the relationship between computing power and energy consumption.
The transition to increasingly advanced production processes constitutes one of the fundamental elements in the evolution of premium smartphones, because it allows us to support particularly demanding operations, such as the processing of very high resolution images, 8K video recording and the execution of artificial intelligence models, while simultaneously trying to contain consumption and heat production.
On the software front, both devices will arrive with ColorOS 17, the new version of OPPO’s operating system, which introduces a renewed interface through Living Flow Design, designed to make daily interactions more fluid and immediate.
The most significant news, however, is AI Mind Pilot with Agent Modea feature that brings agentic artificial intelligence inside the smartphone, allowing it to use information present in files and photographs to carry out tasks through a single command.
The goal is to go beyond traditional assistants, mainly capable of answering questions or generating content, to arrive at systems capable of performing more complex operations and helping the user complete complex tasks.
It will be interesting to understand, during the official presentation, which actions can actually be automated and how aspects relating to the confidentiality of personal data will be managed.
The design changes: sculpted glass and references to classic cameras
OPPO has also worked on the aesthetic aspect of the new series, maintaining the minimalist language that characterizes the previous Find models and introducing what the company defines as Borderless Design.
The distinctive element is the use of glass sculpted in a single piece, designed to connect with the rear photographic module and visually reduce the protrusion of the cameras, one of the elements that has most influenced the design of high-end smartphones in recent years.
Particular attention was paid to Find X10 Pro Max in the Luna White color, inspired by traditional cameras. The photography module features a matte silver metallic finish, knurled details and the iconic Hasselblad orange ring, while the back combines matte glass and a texture that recalls fabric, creating a two-tone surface.
As for the colors announced in Italy, Find X10 will be available in Glacier Blue and Mist Grey, while Find X10 Pro Max will arrive in Titanium Gray and Luna White variants.
From the red carpet of the London Film Festival to the launch on 21 October
Even before the official presentation, OPPO has chosen to connect the new Find X10 generation to the world of cinema, announcing a partnership as Official Mobile Imaging Partner of the BFI London Film Festival, scheduled from 7 to 18 October.
The collaboration represents an opportunity to enhance the photographic system developed together with Hasselblad in a particularly technically demanding environment, where the alternation between bright lights, dimly lit scenes and moving subjects constitutes a challenge even for the most advanced cameras.
The initiative is also part of the strategy with which the manufacturer is trying to position its devices not only as technological tools, but also as products designed for creativity and image production.
How much will OPPO Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max cost
To find out the price of the two smartphones we will have to wait until October 21st, when OPPO will reveal the complete specifications, price lists and information on availability in the different markets in Mallorca.
A promotional initiative dedicated to the launch has already been announced in Italy: from 8 to 25 October 2026, on the official OPPO store it will be possible to purchase a voucher worth 150 euros for 0.99 eurosusable from 21 to 30 November for the purchase of one of the devices from the new Find X10 Series.
The voucher can be refunded during its validity period if not used and, in case of failure to use it within the deadline, automatic refund is provided.
With the Find
The announced features outline two ambitious devices, but it will be the comparison with the actual performance, the photographic quality in real conditions and above all the price that will establish whether the new generation will be able to carve out an important space for itself in a market in which technological innovation must increasingly demonstrate that it offers concrete advantages in everyday use.
