BOTTEGAFUORISERIE, a year of Italian excellence between Alfa Romeo and Maserati

There is a place where the history of the Italian automobile meets the future, where artisan tradition is intertwined with technological innovation and the passion for performance translates into creations destined to become icons. AND BOTTEGA FUORISERIEthe creative center born on November 4, 2025 from the meeting between Alfa Romeo And Maseratiwhich celebrates its first anniversary by transforming an ambitious vision into an increasingly concrete reality.

Ideally extended between Modena, Turin And Aresein the heart of MotorValley and the territories that hold some of the most important Italian automotive skills, BOTTEGAFUORISERIE represents a new way of interpreting theexcellence. Not simply a hub dedicated to the production of exclusive cars, but a ecosystem in which design, engineering, customization, history And competitions they dialogue to create an automotive experience capable of going beyond the product.

The project is divided into four complementary souls: Shopdedicated to few-off and one-off creations; Custom-madewhich transforms personalization into an authentic expression of customer identity; There Historycustodian of the cultural and technical heritage of the two brands; And Racingwhich transfers the experience gained on the track into the development of new engineering solutions.

Twelve months during which the project was able to consolidate its identity through international debuts, extraordinary creations and initiatives that strengthened the relationship with a clientele increasingly interested in exclusivity. From the first joint presence of Alfa Romeo and Maserati at the Ultimate Supercar Garage in Paris to the special interpretations of the 33 Stradale, up to the most refined expressions of the Maserati Fuoriserie programme, BOTTEGAFUORISERIE has demonstrated how Italy’s automotive heritage can continue to generate new forms of beauty.

«We are proud of the progress made so far, thanks to the talent of our people and the constant dialogue between history, customization and competitions», he underlines Cristiano FiorioGeneral Manager of BOTTEGAFUORISERIE and Chief Marketing Officer of Maserati. «BOTTEGAFUORISERIE expresses a cultural value that goes beyond the automotive: it combines the culture of Italian know-how with a contemporary vision of beauty, opening a dialogue with the world of art, design and other areas of creativity».

Bottega, when the car becomes a work of art

The most exclusive heart of the project is represented by Bottega, where sartorial design reaches its maximum expression. Each car is born from a direct dialogue with the customer and from the collaboration between designers, engineers and technicians, called to interpret desires and visions through unique solutions.

Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale And Maserati MCXtrema embody this philosophy, transforming the car into an object capable of combining performance, aesthetic research and craftsmanship. During 2026, the 33 Stradale has taken on different interpretations, each linked to a specific identity.

From the green livery inspired by legendary models such as GTA, GTAm and 33 Bertone Carabo, to the first delivery in the United States, in Austin, in Rosso Villa d’Este with white band and number 14, up to the “Perla Nera”, characterized by the bodywork entirely in matt exposed carbon. A name chosen and registered specifically by the owner, demonstrating how the relationship between customer and builder has become an integral part of the creative process.

The 2026 Paris Motor Show also represented the opportunity to present a special configuration dedicated to the French capital, with refined damask graphics centered on the four-leaf clover. Creations that do not simply stand out for their rarity, but tell a personal story, transforming exclusivity into an emotional experience.

Custom-built cars, customization conquers customers

If Bottega represents the pinnacle of exclusivity, Custom-made it is the program through which customization becomes an increasingly central dimension in the Maserati offer.

During 2026, the program expanded its content across the entire range, with a particular focus on the Grecale, GranTurismo and GranCabrio. The offer was enriched by an average of 20%, while the development of new liveries and bespoke configurations contributed to a growth of more than 500% in sales of one-offs compared to previous years, especially thanks to the MCPura and GT2 Stradale super sports cars.

The numbers show a significant change in customer behavior: one in four Maseratis was ordered in 2026 with Fuoriserie content. A percentage that reaches even higher levels in the GranTurismo and super sports car segments.

The case of the Maserati GT2 Stradale is particularly emblematic: 80% of customers have chosen Fuoriserie to configure their car through exclusive colours, special fittings for the exterior or solutions dedicated to the interior. A result that confirms how contemporary luxury is no longer simply linked to the possession of a prestigious car, but to the possibility of making it unrepeatable.

History, a heritage that fuels the future

The past constitutes another essential element of BOTTEGAFUORISERIE’s identity. Through La HistoryAlfa Romeo and Maserati continue to safeguard and enhance an automotive heritage that represents a fundamental part of Italian industrial culture.

For Classic Maseratis2026 marked the passing of 100 Authenticity Certifications since the launch of the program in 2021. A milestone achieved with the certification of the 1959 3500 GT Convertible Vignale Prototype, an authentic masterpiece of Italian design. The certified cars also include the Maserati 200S from 1957 and the 5000 GT Frua from the 1960s, the first example of this model to obtain the prestigious certification.

Equally significant is the path of Alfa Romeo Historical Museum of Aresewhich celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of its inauguration, confirming itself as a meeting place between the Brand and the community of enthusiasts. The Officine Classiche also continued their certification and restoration activities, also accompanying the Biscione’s participation in the Mille Miglia.

The protection of historical heritage thus does not end with conservation, but becomes a concrete resource for fueling design culture and inspiring the cars of tomorrow.

Racing, innovation is born on the track

The fourth soul of BOTTEGAFUORISERIE is Corse, the pillar that translates the sporting heritage of Alfa Romeo and Maserati in new technological and engineering skills.

For the Trident, 2026 was a particularly important year, characterized by the results of the Maserati GT2 in international competitions and the advancement of the sporting strategy. Maserati Project GT4 was presented at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, a new car currently under development and expected to make its official debut in 2028.

Derived from the technical, stylistic and engineering DNA of the new GranTurismo, Project GT4 will join the GT2, expanding the brand’s presence in international motorsport. A project that demonstrates how competitions continue to represent a privileged laboratory for the development of solutions intended to strengthen the identity of series models.

A vision that looks beyond the car

What characterizes the first year of BOTTEGAFUORISERIE is above all the ability to relate the four souls of the project. An emblematic example is represented by the celebratory liveries created by Maserati Fuoriserie for the centenary of the Trident and its first participation in competitions.

In May, at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, GT2 and GT2 Stradale paid homage to the legendary Maserati 250F. In September, on the occasion of TUTTO BENE Hillclimb 2026, new interpretations celebrated the historic 1958 Maserati Eldorado.

History thus becomes a source of inspiration, customization renews its language and competitions project the values of the brands into the present.

But the first anniversary is above all the beginning of a new phase. In fact, Fiorio anticipates the arrival of exclusive and innovative projects, including a new BOTTEGAFUORISERIE Project under the Alfa Romeo brand, already announced during the Stellantis Investor Day in May 2026.

«But we are only at the beginning», says the manager. «We will continue to translate this extraordinary heritage into new masterpieces and to take Italian excellence further and further, giving concrete form to our strategic vision».

An ambition that restores the deepest meaning of BOTTEGAFUORISERIE: preserving the identity of two legendary brands, reinterpreting it through contemporary creativity. Because, in an automotive world increasingly oriented towards standardization and technology, the distinctive value of Made in Italy continues to lie in the ability to transform competence, passion and culture of detail into emotions to be experienced behind the wheel.
