The Egyptian Museum of Turin opens up the re -ored rooms dedicated to the tomb of Iti and Neferu and the princess Ahmose to the public. The new preparation, the result of the work of the curators Beppe Moiso, Enrico Ferraris and Cinzia Soddu, enhances the role of research, archive and conservation.
Among the most relevant innovations: the discovery of an original painting of the tomb, re -emerged from the deposits of the University of Turin, and leather shoes of the princess Ahmose, exhibited for the first time after the restoration. The two rooms tell about the archaeological and scientific work through finds, reconstructive designs and unpublished materials, returning to the public an important piece of the history of ancient Egypt and Italian museology.
