It is titled The fantastic four – the beginnings The new Marvel reboot, directed by Matt Shakman, expected in Italian theaters starting from Tuesday 23 July. Set on Terra-828, a parallel reality imagined in a retro-fault key, the film tells the birth of the famous supergroup in the heart of a universe visually inspired by the 1960s.
The protagonists of the film The historical members of the training – Reed Richards, his Storm, Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm – called to face the threat of the Cosmic Destroyer Galactus and his Araldo Silver Surfer.
“It is a film designed for today’s audience, but shot with the soul and visual style of a sixties production,” said director Matt Shakman, already known for his work on Wandavision. With this reboot, the Marvel Studios relaunch one of the most iconic sagas of the comics, betting on a mix of aesthetic nostalgia and contemporary narrative.
