18 years after the murder of Chiara Poggi, new traces and contradictions reopen the case of Garlasco. At the center of the investigation, Marco Poggi’s friend: his alibi creaks and imprints ever explained.
The imprint n. 33 and movements in the Poggi house
The so -called imprint 33found on the wall of the stairs that lead to the basement of the house in via Pascoli, has been attributed – thanks to new technologies – precisely to Andrea Semplio by the consultants of the prosecutor, Gianpaolo Iuliano and Nicola Caprioli. It is a palm, without blood, but sufficient to reopen the doubts about its movements inside the house.
In the past, the testimonies agreed on the fact that only a few areas of the house attended: the living room on the ground floor and Chiara’s room, where the computer was located. Marco Poggi in 2007 said: “During their visits we remained either in the TV room, on the ground floor, or we saliva on the first floor, inside the Chiara bedroom, to use the computer”reiterating in 2017: “When Andrea came to me, we spent time playing video games, in the room down or on the computer that was in Chiara’s room”.
The same semium confirmed: «At the time I went at least two or three times to his house to play (…). We spent time mainly playing video games. We played in the house of the house, where there was the console to play with the TV, or on the computer that was placed in the Chiara room “.
However, Marco’s parents in an interview from 2017 declared the opposite: “We never entered, the bell rose, Marco came out and went around for Garlasco”.
After the discovery of the imprint, the lawn of Semve, Angela Taccia, instead argued: “He attended every corner of the house, except the parents’ bedroom”. But also this detail contrasts with what reported by the Poggi immediately after the murder. On 21 and 23 August 2007, the console was described in the TV room, also confirmed by the photos of the carabinieri.
Other forgotten footprints
In addition to n. 33, a second imprint returns to the topicality: n. 10found on the entrance door. Andrea Semplio’s shaky alibi
The real knot, however, remains the alibi of Andrea Semplio, who had so far seemed unassailable. He founded himself on one Parking receipt in Vigevano, dated right in the morning of the crime. But new investigations, starting from cells and tables, found that that ticket could refer not to him, but to the motherwhich that morning sent a message to a firefighter on duty in Vigevano.

The former Marshal Marchetto: «I wanted to investigate the Cappa twins, but they stopped me“
In the vortex of reopenings and new slopes, he also returns to speak Francesco Marchettoformer marshal of the carabinieri, one of the first figures on the crime scene in the house in via Pascoli.
