The click day of the 2025 household appliances bonus, the incentive to support the replacement of domestic appliances with highly energy efficient models, will start at 7am tomorrow, Tuesday 18 November. The contribution can be requested via the IO App or through the dedicated website bonusdomestic.it, using the Spid or Cie credentials. There are 48.1 million euros available and requests will be accepted until the funds are completely exhausted. So the chronological order counts, the speed of clicking is fundamental.
What is the 2025 household appliances bonus
The bonus is an economic contribution for those who decide to replace an outdated household appliance with a more efficient model. It is a digital voucher that covers up to 30% of the cost of the product, with a maximum ceiling of 100 euros, which can double to 200 euros for families with an ISEE of less than 25 thousand euros per year. The contribution is valid for a single purchase for each household and can be used both in physical stores and on participating online platforms.
How many and which products can be purchased with the appliance bonus
There are almost 6 thousand products that can be purchased with the voucher. Precisely there are 5,948 although the list may be updated over the weeks. There are seven categories included and include fridges and freezers, tumble dryers, range hoods, ovens, washer dryers, dishwashers, washing machines and hobs. Thirty brands have currently signed up, including Aeg, Beko, Bosch, De’Longhi, Electrolux, Elica, Hotpoint, Indesit, Miele, LG, Samsung, Siemens, Smeg and Whirlpool. Most of the models present belong to the highest energy classes, with an offer that focuses above all on the A, A+ and B classifications. In fact, the appliances allowed must have precise energy classes. Washing machines and washer-dryers, for example, must be at least in class A, as must ovens. Hoods must be in class B or higher, while dishwashers and dryers must comply with at least class C. Refrigerators and freezers must be in class D, while the technical limits set by the European Regulation 2019/2016 apply to hobs. In addition to the energy class, it is essential that the product purchased was made in a factory located in the European Union. Another fundamental requirement is disposal. The incentive can only be used if you hand in an old appliance for disposal. The seller must have the documents proving the disposal of the old appliance.
Who can request the 2025 appliance bonus and how much it is worth
All adult citizens resident in Italy with a Spid or electronic identity card can access the contribution. The bonus is recognized only once per family unit; therefore, only once for people who share the same residence, whether they are linked by marriage, civil union, kinship or affinity, or even by emotional ties in the case of unmarried cohabiting couples.
The value of the contribution covers up to 30% of the cost of the appliance. The maximum limit is set at 100 euros, while families with an ISEE under 25 thousand euros can obtain a reimbursement of up to 200 euros. The increased amount requires the presentation of the updated ISEE, while for the standard threshold it is not necessary to present the ISEE.
How to apply for the 2025 appliance bonus
The application can be submitted via the IO App or via the bonusdomestic.it website. The first step is to enter the “Services” section and select the “Appliances Bonus” item. From here begins the compilation of the application, which requires the indication of the device to be replaced and the insertion of the ISEE value, if less than 25 thousand euros. After sending, the system proceeds with the verification of the requirements and if the request is approved, the digital voucher appears in the app’s Wallet and remains valid for 15 calendar days: if not used by 11.59pm on the fifteenth day, the voucher expires automatically. To use it, both in physical stores and on the online portals that participate in the initiative, simply present or enter the voucher code. In some cases the seller may also request the tax code of the bonus holder, necessary to complete the checks.
