Devisal by Grisport debuts with the Hex and Pulse sneakers. The project told by Giovanni Grigolato between design, customization and new generations.
In the world of contemporary sneakers, where design, technology and pop culture intertwine, even brands with a long manufacturing tradition choose to experiment with new languages. This is the case of Grisport which in 2026 presents Devisal, a project designed to dialogue with the new generations through aesthetics that look to the tech world, fantasy and comics culture. Giovanni Grigolato, project manager of Grisport-Devisal, talks about it, describing the birth of the line, the positioning on the market and the development prospects.
The Devisal project marks a new chapter for Grisport. What are the strategic reasons that pushed you to invest in this younger and more design-oriented line?
Devisal by Grisport is an ambitious project, which has been “whirling” in our heads for a few years and which, finally, in 2026, saw the light. Born from the creativity of a team within our company, the aim is, starting from the “story” behind it, to involve as many people as possible, creating a fantasy “community”. In fact, to talk about our new project and to make the public understand some of our passions that have moved us, a series of videos have been created that wink at the world of comics. Another aspect that led us to create these sneakers is the need to increasingly satisfy the needs of the customer who, in recent times, expresses the desire to own a shoe that is increasingly “personalized”. We have noticed this trend in the field of the accident prevention sector and, with Devisal, we have also managed to bring it into everyday life, with a shoe with a “fresh” style, with details that refer to the world of Tech and Fantasy, areas increasingly followed by the new generations.
In which market segment does Devisal fit and which consumer target do you intend to intercept? Have you identified priority geographic markets for distribution?
Devisal fits into a mid-range market, taking into account that, as with other Grisport footwear, it is characterized by shoes with excellent quality-price, in which comfort plays a key and strategic role. The objective is to intercept the new generations, but also all those who have a passion for the world of design, tech and fantasy. We have not identified priority geographic markets in particular, but for distribution we certainly remain at a national level, trying to expand more and more into “physical” stores throughout Italy.
Two models are planned, Hex and Pulse. What substantial differences distinguish them in terms of design, performance and target audience?
In terms of characteristics (upper and other components of the sneaker, foot comfort and various details…) Hex and Pulse are identical. Pulse presents a “minimal” and traditional style, while Hex is for those who, in terms of style, want to “dare” something more, the type of model “closest” to the new generations.
Looking ahead, will Devisal remain a two-model capsule or is it destined to expand into a structured line with new product categories?
Devisal by Grisport was born with the two basic lines Hex and Pulse, but the creative minds of our team are always “active” and looking for new trends to work on to develop new projects. A new model will be presented shortly for the Autumn Winter 2026/27 collection.
