New clash between Selvaggia Lucarelli and Barbara D’Urso: the juror dismantles the host’s victimism and reveals her exclusive privileges on Dancing with the Stars
The feud between Selvaggia Lucarelli and Barbara D’Urso now takes on the contours of a superhero comic, where the protagonist and his nemesis clash relentlessly. Here the war is through dance (and above all words). Except that it is not yet clear who is the heroine and who is villain: the choice is yours.
In her latest newsletter «ValeTutto», the Dancing with the Stars juror brought out the complete repertoire, revealing details about her rival that until now had remained in the undergrowth of indiscretions: stellar cachet, tailor-made privileges and a behind-the-scenes atmosphere that seems more like a South American soap opera than a talent show (well, truth be told, that was clear for a long time).
The stellar fee by Barbara D’Urso
Everything comes from one Instagram story published by D’Urso, in which the presenter spoke of a television journey experienced under “psychological demolition” due to the jury’s judgments. Words that lit the fuse: «Barbarella feels psychologically demolished for two shovels… poor thing, SHE», wrote Lucarelli, recalling that no one forced her to wear ballet shoes: «If he found it humiliating to put on his dancing shoes and let himself be judged, he could calmly stay at home, especially since luckily for her she has earned tens of millions in Mediaset and she doesn’t need to work.”
One of the most controversial chapters concerns the host’s compensation. Selvaggia reveals that Barbara receives “hundreds of thousands of euros” (around 300 thousand) of fee for his presence on Dancing with the Stars. The juror’s thrust is diabolical: «I would be cautious in throwing myself into victimhood… I think it would be full of volunteers willing to let Mariotto say “how boring” for half a million euros or whatever… D’Urso has a whole series of other privileges requested and obtained by the production and which no one has ever had in Ballandonot even Wanda Nara. From personal hair and makeup (and not internal to Rai), to a dressing room in a different area than the others, to a mega-house and so on… The truth is that Barbara D’Urso only wants to enjoy privileges.”
The final blow of Selvaggia Lucarelli
Not satisfied, Selvaggia continued with a second blow, recalling the farewell between Barbara D’Urso and Mediaset: «If I were in her place I would start to think that she was sent away by Mediaset because she didn’t want to understand that a certain TV was dying and he wanted to keep her alive artificially, until that TV killed her. That in Dancing she could have enjoyed it and instead she’s living it like someone who has to dodge mines in an Iraqi camp. Who was never a poor unemployed person, but a millionairess who was stopped for a year and a half after hosting five programs at the same time. That she is, in short, anything but the victim of some cosmic plot orchestrated to ruin her experience or career.”
And here is the final provocation, in which Lucarelli invites the contestant to abandon the program if she feels she is being unfairly harassed: «She can enjoy life, spend her days taking baths in the tub in donkey’s milk or go around the world 10 times round trip but evidently, At 68 years old, I couldn’t care less about an alternative life to TV. He wants the TV back. Legitimate, but I repeat, her choice, Milly Carlucci didn’t force her.”
The feeling is that the war is not over yet. The next dance steps (physical and verbal) are postponed to Saturday 22 November, when the two comic book superheroines will meet (or more likely, clash) on the Dancing with the Stars stage.
