Founded in 1996, the Tuscan company celebrates three decades of activity in high-end general contracting. Between boutiques, hotels and private residences, its model integrates technical design, construction site management and tailor-made production
There are boutiques, hotels and residences known all over the world. And then there are the companies that, away from the spotlight, transform architects’ projects into real spaces. Fabbri Services has been working behind the scenes of international luxury for thirty years, dealing with the creation of environments with high design and quality content.
Founded in Arezzo in 1996, the company specializes in general contracting for the fashion, luxury, hospitality, residential and real estate sectors. Over time it has expanded its presence in the main European markets, supporting architects, designers and international brands in the management of complex projects.
To celebrate its thirtieth anniversary, Fabbri Services has chosen one of the most representative places of the city in which it was born: the Roman Amphitheater of Arezzo. The anniversary has also become an opportunity to strengthen the bond with the territory, through a contribution intended for the maintenance and enhancement of the archaeological site.
Thirty years in the luxury industry
In three decades Fabbri Services has participated in the creation of boutiques, hotel structures, corporate headquarters, spaces dedicated to hospitality and private residences in Italy and the rest of Europe.
The company’s portfolio includes projects developed for some of the most recognizable names in international fashion, including Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Saint Laurent, Gucci, Valentino and Ferragamo. Added to these are collaborations with Fendi, Celine, Jil Sander and Van Cleef & Arpels.
Different brands, different identities and construction sites often characterized by tight deadlines, delicate materials and particularly high quality standards. A complexity that requires not only construction skills, but also a profound understanding of the project and the intentions of those who imagined it.
The objective is to preserve the coherence between the original design and the final result, interpreting the customer’s needs, the characteristics of the materials and the critical issues that may emerge during construction.
What does “bespoke contracting” mean?
Fabbri Services defines its operating model with the expression “bespoke contracting”. A tailor-made approach that brings together technical development, project management, construction and production of customized furniture and elements under a single responsibility.
The company thus follows the entire process, from the first interpretation of the project to the delivery of the finished space. The general contractor becomes the point of connection between architects, designers, suppliers, artisans and clients, coordinating different skills and trying to transform the complexity of the construction site into value.
It is a particularly relevant role in the world of luxury, where even an apparently marginal detail can contribute to the overall perception of a boutique or environment. Materials, finishes, lighting, furnishings and technical solutions must communicate with each other and respect the identity of the brand.
«In these thirty years we have learned that building well means first of all understanding. Understanding an idea, a vision, a detail, a need. Only then is it possible to transform a project into a space capable of returning exactly what was imagined”, underlines the company.
The growth of the Fabbri Group
The thirtieth anniversary coincides with a phase of consolidation for the company. Over the last ten years Fabbri Services claims to have recorded a growth in turnover of at least 10% per year.
The development was also supported by the diversification of the activities, now organized into four business lines: Retail, Industrial, Residential and Furniture. A structure that allows the group to operate on different segments, adapting its model to the needs of the markets and individual projects.
In parallel with the expansion, the company has invested in internal organisation, processes and professional skills. According to the data communicated, the group presents a stable double-digit margin and a positive net financial position.
Fabbri Services also has ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, as well as Uni/PdR 125 certification, and publishes a sustainability report.
From reality behind the scenes to protagonist of the project
For much of its history, Fabbri Services has maintained a discreet profile, consistent with the role of those who work so that the idea of an architect or a brand can take shape without losing its identity.
However, the thirtieth anniversary also marks the beginning of a new phase. The company intends to communicate with greater awareness the wealth of skills accumulated through hundreds of creations in Italy and abroad, claiming its role in the contemporary culture of design.
Not just constructing, therefore, but interpreting. Don’t just execute a design, but understand its intentions and translate them into materials, volumes and spaces. This is the philosophy with which Fabbri Services celebrates thirty years spent behind the scenes of some of the most recognizable places in international luxury.
