A three centimeters long hair found after 18 years in the garbage of the Poggi house, but above all a secret audio that now risks rewriting the whole story. It is a dialogue that throws new, very heavy shadows on one of the most controversial witnesses of the Garlasco case: Marco Muschittathe worker who in 2007 said he had seen a blonde girl moving away by bicycle from the crime house, before retracting sensationally. “He is a quaquaraquà, he is not a man … they certainly threatened him … maybe they also gave him money to shut up.” Words that question everything, while the investigations return to dig on that morning of 13 August 2007.
The audio reopens the suspicions
But the investigation is further shaking is the exclusive audio published by Time. Registration dates back to 17 July 2022 and documents a conversation between the former marshal of the carabinieri Francesco Marchetto And Alfredo SportielloAsm manager of Vigevano and direct superior of Marco Muschitta. And the figure who now returns to the center of yellow is precisely MUSCHITT.

Muschitta, in fact, is the worker who on August 13, 2007 – the day of the murder of Chiara – declared that he had seen a blonde girl by bicycle move away from the house in via Pascoli with an object similar to a fireplace as a fireplace. At the time he also indicated a name: Stefania Cappa. Questioned on 27 September 2007 for more than four hours by the carabinieri, during a report interrupted twice for reasons never clarified, Muschitta then ended up retracting sensationally: “I invented everything I told you because I’m a stupid”. He later also ended up on trial for slander against Stefania Cappa’s twin, but was acquitted. From that moment, for Italian justice, it became a completely unreliable witness.
Yet already at the time some interceptions between Musk and the Father They had aroused more than one doubt: «To protect you, they made you do that stuff there. For me you did well to do what you did. You don’t have to regret. You said what you knew … But did you tell the truth? “asked the Father. And Muschitta replied: “Of course, I said what I saw, if you want to …”
Despite this, instead of deepening and convening Muschitta to clarify the short circuit of his deposition, the investigators – just as they were about to stop Alberto Stasi – were concentrated rather in an attempt to discredit the witness, looking for elements to show that it was a mythomaniac.
In light of this new audio, however, the report of 9 October 2007 of Sportiello takes on different contours. Sportiello reported that Muschitta would have already confided to him on September 27 that he saw that girl on bicycle And that, seeing the images of Stasi on TV, would have exclaimed: “It wasn’t he, I saw anything else”. The cohabiting partner of Muschitta, however, would have dissuaded him: “Made your business, otherwise you prepare your suitcase and you fall away.” After Stasi’s arrest, the Gas coach told what was also seen to his father and his in -laws, but hesitated to go to the carabinieri. Sportiello convinced him, who pushed him to speak also with the administrative manager Maria Lucianer. That same evening, while Lucianer was listened to in the prosecutor’s office by the commander Gennaro Cassese, Muschitta was questioned by the prosecutor Rosa Muscio. Only days later, on 9 October, Sportiello was officially felt and confirmed the story of his employee, also delivering the service sheets that documented the presence of Muskta in via Pascoli in the hours and minutes indicated. No test placed it elsewhere: The only element that undermined its credibility was the subsequent retraction.
