Andrea Semplio’s lawyer relaunches an alternative track: Chiara Poggi would have discovered disturbing secrets. Also under examination the story of Stasi, suspicious phone calls, a relationship never clarified and a second cell phone left in the shadows
In the last episode of the season, The hyenas They have returned to dig in the mystery of the crime of Garlasco, with new interviews and archive materials that rekindle the doubts about the murder of Chiara Poggi, which took place on 13 August 2007. At the center of the service, The interview with the lawyer Massimo Lovati, lawyer by Andrea Semplio – the only investigated in the new investigation phase – and some contributions collected over time, including a testimony released eight years ago by Alberto Stasi’s mother and the story of a witness who died today.
Lovati, who defends Semplio, appears convinced of the innocence of his client, but goes even further: According to him, it wasn’t even Alberto Stasi who killed Chiara. The receipt, the phone calls and the alibi that is not enough
One of the central elements in favor of Semve, so far considered a sort of alibi then questioned, is the receipt that would place it away from Garlasco at the moment of the crime. But for the lawyer this document does not have a real weight: “The receipt is not an alibi, because it comes in fashion when there is an accusation. There was never an accusation there. (…) It was remembered that the mother or dad had kept this receipt and brought it.”
And on the calls made in the days preceding the crime to the Casa dei Poggi, Lovati is clear: “He was looking for Marco, otherwise what did he called to do?” A detail, however, raises some perplexities: Marco Poggi, brother of Chiara and great friend of Semplio, was in those days in Trentino with his parents. Could it be that Semia did not know?
The refused DNA test
The lawyer Lovati then explained why He advised us not to voluntarily undergo the DNA test To compare his profile with the tracks found under the nails of Chiara: “We wanted an order of the investigating judge, a third person.” And he reiterates: “There was no relationship with Chiara Poggi, he called Poggi Casa to look for his friend.”
Doubts about stasi
The lawyer also attacks the story made by Stasi regarding the discovery of Chiara’s body, questioning a decisive passage: “That wall is two meters high. In 2007 they only had to do one thing: show us where you climbed over, take the footprints and then ask to climb over. It is clear that it is a story that they told him to say.”
Lovati suggests a gloomy scenario: Chiara would have discovered something serious linked to pedophilia And rites of “purification” which, according to him, would have held the sanctuary. “On Wednesday there were the purifications,” says the lawyer, assuming that behind the murder there were those who “trafficked in men” and that he would also threaten stasis.
Stasi’s mother: “They didn’t look elsewhere”

The woman, at the time, spoke openly about her disappointment for investigations: “They investigated only on Alberto without looking around. No one had to do was done, it’s a total injustice.” And he added, convinced: “I am fully convinced of Alberto’s innocence.”
“Chiara Poggi had a relationship with an adult from Garlasco”
Another point raised by the transmission is the testimony of a man, who died todaycollection years ago. The latter said he had seen the bicycle outside the house of Chiara already at 8 in the morning of 13 August 2007 and reported a gossip circulated in the village: “We murmur in Garlasco, it seems that …”, said the man, making the name and surname of an adult person with whom Chiara would have had a relationshipin addition to the official one with stasis.
Despite the impossibility of verifying its reliability, this item connects to an element already present in the investigation documents.
Correspondence with a friend
Inside the new cards, in fact, one appears Exchange of email of 5 July 2007 between Chiara Poggi and the friend Cristina Tosi. A message that suggests a double sentimental life:

It has never been clarified with certainty if “the pigeon” was an affectionate nickname for stasis or another man.
The mystery of the second cell phone by Chiara Poggi
There is one last track left in the shade: Chiara’s second cell phone. Massimo Pisa, on Republicrecalled how a friend of the girl, Francesca Di Mauro, had spoken of a second phone – a “opening and small” device – in addition to the blue nokia, typical of young people of the time.
