The Altitude collection combines advanced performance and distinctive codes with technical garments. Alongside the wardrobe, the maison introduces items in partnership with HEAD.
Gucci stands tall in the mountains with the new Altitude collection. In fact, the new advertising campaign dedicated to the outdoor world has been revealed. Designed to combine the precision of technical snow clothing with the maison’s tradition in leisurewear, the Altitude project reinterprets alpine clothing with a contemporary look, where performance and aesthetics, research and identity codes enhance each other. The initiative is interpreted by the global brand ambassador, Jannik Sinner, who before dedicating himself to tennis was a young ski champion and who commented, “It was a truly special and unique shooting, in the middle of the mountains. I have always loved the mountains, and this shoot took place in an absolutely incredible setting. Gucci always offers extraordinary ideas, but this one was truly magical and an experience that I will never forget”. The tennis champion, who is currently on the court in Paris for the Masters, where today he will meet the German Zverev, was shot by the photographer Stef Mitchell with the direction of Stillz and the styling by Sydney Rose Thomas. In detail, the Altitude proposal is made up of specially designed technical garments, made with cutting-edge technologies such as breathable three-layer structures, water-repellent finishes and functional details such as ski pass pockets and touch-screen interiors. Alongside ready-to-wear, accessories and footwear, Gucci also presented a selection of high-precision items made in partnership with HEAD such as skis and poles, snowboards, sports bags and helmets embellished with the brand’s iconic double G Web stripe.
