The project with IHG brings the first Italian Staybridge Suites to Milan and opens a new phase in the Reinvest Group’s hotel development strategy. Delta, THDP and Pianca worked on the project
Hotel Stamira Srl, a Reinvest Group company, completes with IHG Hotels & Resorts the transformation of the Ramada Plaza Milan into a dual brand complex that will host Crowne Plaza Milan NoLo and Staybridge Suites Milan NoLo, the first structure in Italy of the IHG brand dedicated to extended stays.
Hotel Stamira, tenant and manager of the property, developed the operation as part of the Reinvest Group’s strategy focused on the valorisation and repositioning of hotel assets. The project introduces two complementary formulas in the same complex: the business and leisure offer of Crowne Plaza and the extended stay offer of Staybridge Suites.
The transformation involves a structure made up of five towers, 170 rooms and 95 apartments, as well as approximately 3,000 square meters of private park. The intervention includes the renovation of rooms, apartments, common spaces and services, maintaining the urban resort configuration that has characterized the complex since its opening in 2010. The works are carried out by Delta, a Milanese construction company, while the interior design project is entrusted to the THDP studio and Pianca takes care of the creation of the furnishings. The operational management of the transformation process is followed by the General Director Andrea Malpetti.
«We have chosen not to limit ourselves to a change of name, but to rethink the asset by enhancing its distinctive characteristics and opening it to an international dimension», declares Cristina Paini, CEO of Hotel Stamira Srl. «The dual brand formula allows us to serve different demand segments within a single complex and represents a significant step in the development path of Hotel Stamira and the Reinvest Group».
