In the first Grand Prix of the season in Thailand, the Italian rider dominated on the Aprilia

Bezzecchi, who crashed yesterday while leading the Sprint, made up for it by authoritatively winning the first real race of the new season. Pecco Bagnaia still appears to be in crisis, while Raul Fernandez is growing race after race.
Bezzecchi always in the lead
In today’s Grand Prix Bezzecchi never lost first placethanks to a good start and an Aprilia set-up that allowed him to extend and manage the lead without forcing it. “Yesterday I made a small mistake which had a big consequence, so today it was important to react – said Bezzecchi after the race – We worked very well all weekend. I tried to get a good start, then the bike was perfect. I thank the team and all my friends who woke up early in Italy… and my mother”, he concluded. Behind him, Pedro Acosta and Marc Marquez started a duel with a series of overtaking at the limit until, on lap 21, the Ducati champion got a puncture and was forced to exit. Acosta is leader of the world championship, thanks to the Sprint victory and second place in the race: “Am I in the lead? I am for a day. We must be happy with the team’s work. We pushed hard at work – he said at the end of the race – I have to thank everyone at Ktm, my family and all those who helped me”.
