From Magnini to D’Urso, the cast of Ballando with the Stars is almost complete. No pilgrims: Rai changes his mind about his role alongside Paolo Belli
The cast of the twentieth edition of Ballando con le Stelle, broadcast on Rai1 from September 27 with the conduct of Milly Carlucci and Paolo Belli, continues to take shape. The latest official name is that of Filippo Magnini, who announced his participation with a video on Instagram shot directly in the pool.
The swimming champion thus joins Fabio Fognini, Barbara D’Urso (strongly desired by Milly to the point, according to rumors, to be personally contributed to his cachet), Nancy Brilli, Martina Colombari, Maurizio Ferrini (aka Mrs. Corrandoli), Francesca Fialdini, Marcella Bella, Andrea Delogu and Rosa Chemical. The jury made up of Carolyn Smith, Fabio Canino, Ivan Zazzaroni, Guillermo Mariotto and Selvaggia Lucarelli, as well as the parterre of the dance masters, with historical names and the new entry Chiquito, also confirmed in bulk.
The Pellegrini case
Among the most talked about background of the last few weeks there was that of Federica Pellegrini: initially given for a special role alongside Paolo Belli, the champion seemed to have been back on the presence of the former historian Magnini on the track. According to Dagospia, Rai would have feared the tensions deriving from their sentimental past, which ended in 2017 between arrows and mutual accusations.
The version of Gabriele Parpiglia, however, overturns the script: Federica, now married to Matteo Giunta and mother of a girl, would have enthusiastically accepted the proposal. The go-ahead for co-account had already been given, but a few days after the production he would have changed his mind, choosing another face and leaving the “Divine” outside the project.
A dance floor already hot
For Magnini, the participation promises the reflectors aimed, thanks to the absence of his ex. For Milly Carlucci, the cast put together is already a mixture of sport, music, television and characters ready to transform the twentieth edition into a Saturday evening with a high show.
