The White House unveiled its theme-driven 2025 Christmas decorations Home Is Where The Heart Is, chosen by first lady Melania Trump to celebrate “the sincere character of America inside the People’s House”.
An idea that comes from his personal experience: «Continuous movement taught me that home is not just a physical space, but the warmth and comfort that I carry within me», he explained. «This Christmas we celebrate the love we carry inside and share it with the world around us!.
For the 2025 edition, Melania entrusted the creative project to designer Hervé Pierre, who chose 10 thousand blue butterflies as a distinctive element, a symbol of transformation and renewal, two concepts which – according to his team – represent the very essence of Christmas. To complete the display, the traditional red bows on the windows, over 50 Christmas trees distributed in the historic rooms of the building and 230 meters of garlands and ribbons.
