The complete program of Milan Fashion Week 2025, from the fashion shows of the big brands to special events and historical celebrations.
This Milan Fashion Week will be celebrated in the sign of the memory of one of its founders, Giorgio Armani. His creative, entrepreneurial and human lesson continues to inspire a sector in transformation, in which vision, quality and consistency represent essential values. The September edition, scheduled from 23 to 29, confirms Milan as a global epicenter of fashion, thanks to the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ice Agency and the Municipality of Milan.
The official calendar
The fashion week includes 171 appointments: 54 physical fashion shows, 4 digital, 78 presentations, 7 events by appointment and 30 special events. The edition will see the debut of new creative directors, including Louis Trotter for Bottega Veneta and Simone Bellotti for Jil Sander. Gucci will present the first collection of the artistic director Demna in a private event on September 23, while Dario Vitale will present the Versace collection with a dedicated event. Among the emerging and international brands on the calendar include Dhruv Kapoor, Pierre-Louis Mascia, Knwls and Sa on Phi, with significant debuts also in the digital section.
Celebrations and anniversaries
This edition celebrates important historical goals. Giorgio Armani will close the fashion shows on Sunday 28 September celebrating the 50th anniversary of the brand, while Laura Biagiotti will remember 60 years from the Foundation. Doublej and Flowermountain will celebrate the tenth anniversary, as well as Calcaterra for its 10 years of presence on the calendar. The Milan Fashion Week 2025 is confirmed as a stage where history and innovation coexist, paying homage to the cultural heritage of Italian fashion.
Special events and prizes
On September 23, who is who is who Awards, arrived on the 25th anniversary and dedicated to links and connections. On the same day the third edition of the Masters of Excellence will take place, created by LVMH, Confartigianato Imprese, Cnmi and Thélios, and the inauguration of the fashion hub at Palazzo Giureconsulti, a central point for the promotion of the new talents.
On 27 September the CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards 2025 will then be assigned, dedicated to sustainable fashion and the enhancement of emerging talents, in collaboration with an Alliance for Sustainable Fashion and the Municipality of Milan. Projects such as “The Apartment” offer multidisciplinary platforms to young designers, with exhibitions, presentations and artistic performances, promoting independent creativity and innovation in the sector.
