On November 6, 2025, Netflix celebrates Stranger Things Day with the world premiere of the fifth and final season in Los Angeles and the online publication of the first five minutes of the new chapter. The closing of the circle and the future of the series.
The November 6 it’s not just any date for fans of Stranger Things. It’s the day when, in 1983the little one Will Byers disappears mysteriously a Hawkinsstarting the events of the series. Since then, the date has become lo Stranger Things Day and for 2025 Netflix has chosen to pay homage to the saga with a special event: the premiere global of fifth and final season to Los Angeles in conjunction with the online publication of the first five minutes of the new chapter.
The cast reunited
All the protagonists of the series paraded on the red carpet of the premiere, from Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) to David Harbor (Jim Hopper)from Winona Ryder (Joyce Byers) e Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) a Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson) and Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), and all the rest of the cast together with the creators and brothers Matt And Ross Duffer.
Return to the Upside Down
During the celebration, Netflix released in preview the first five minutes of the fifth season, available on YouTube and on the Italian platform. The opening scene is a flashback set in November 1983, six days after Will’s disappearance: second Matt Duffer“to close the story we had to bring it back to him”. But to know what the Upside down and why Will had been chosen, we will find out the November 27 with the first part of the episodes. The fifth season will in fact be divided into three volumes: the first with episodes 1-4, precisely on November 27th, the volume 2 with episodes 5-7 the December 26thwhile the grand finale will debut on January 1, 2026.
The universe expands
During it Stranger Things Daya new one was also announced animated series: Stranger Things: Stories from 1985due out in 2026, set between the second and third seasons, will expand the universe of the series. Netflix has already released some unpublished images of the spin-off and a behind-the-scenes video.
As Stranger Things is preparing to close the circle by returning to 1983. After eight years, the countdown towards the finale has begun and perhaps we will discover what the Upside Down really hides.
