The case involving Alfonso Signorini, brought to light by the “king of the paparazzi” Fabrizio Corona through the Falsissimo format: what has emerged so far, what is disputed and which steps still remain to be clarified
The story that has hit in recent weeks Antonio Medugno, Alfonso Signorini And Fabrizio Corona continues to spread on a media and judicial level, while on a factual level it remains, for now, a story to be ascertained, made up of conflicting statements, materials being examined by investigators and a climate of strong public exposure which makes the use of maximum parole necessary.
At the center of the matter is what Corona has publicly defined as an alleged “system”, linked – according to his version – to access to the Big Brother VIP. Very serious accusations, relaunched through the web format Extremely falsewhich would have directly involved Signorini and which called into question Medugno, a former reality competition competitor and now an influencer with a large social audience.
Medugno’s social outburst and the announcement of a personal “truth”.
In recent days Medugno has chosen Instagram to take a stand, speaking openly about a media storm which, according to him, would have overwhelmed not only him but also his family. In a story published on his profile, the 27-year-old Neapolitan announced his intention to tell “his truth”, implying that he will do so publicly, precisely within the Corona program.
A choice which, if confirmed, could further amplify the media coverage of the case, already very strong on social media and in online information circuits, where the story has quickly become stratified between indiscretions, positions taken and indirect testimonies, all yet to be verified.
The statements attributed to Medugno and the chat node
According to what has emerged so far, Medugno would have spoken of messages with an affectionate tone and frequent video calls that took place before his entry into the Big Brother VIPspecifying however that, at least in his version, such contacts would never have resulted in a physical relationship. He also claimed that a former manager knew about those conversations and was in possession of them.
These are elements which, in Corona’s narrative, would be used to support the existence of an alleged mechanism of pressure or favors, but which, at present, remain statements to be demonstrated and subjected to scrutiny by the judicial authorities.
The investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office and Signorini’s position
On the judicial level, the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Milan has opened a file which sees Signorini registered in the register of suspects for hypotheses of extortion and sexual violence, following the complaint presented by Medugno. A registration which, as happens in these cases, represents a necessary act to allow investigations to be carried out and does not equate to an assessment of responsibility.
At the same time, proceedings are also open regarding Corona, who is being investigated for the illicit dissemination of images with sexually explicit content, as part of a complaint filed by Signorini himself. The searches and seizures of computer material carried out in recent days are aimed precisely at clarifying the origin, use and possible dissemination of chats, images and videos.
Signorini, through his lawyers, spoke of a “mountain of mud” and reiterated his desire to re-establish his version of events, declaring himself confident that new elements may emerge during the investigations. While waiting for clarifications, the presenter has decided to self-suspend from editorial activities in Mediaset, a choice accepted by the company as a prudential measure.
A story that grows faster than the verifications
Meanwhile, on the media level, the case continues to expand. Corona claims to have collected dozens, if not hundreds, of reports and testimonies, some of which have already been brought to the attention of magistrates. Other former protagonists of the Big Brother they would be considering whether to file complaints or complaints themselves, contributing to a story that risks expanding well beyond the facts initially reported.
This is precisely the most delicate point of the entire affair: while the investigations are ongoing and no responsibility has been ascertained, the public exposure of the people involved is already at its maximum, with personal and professional consequences that are difficult to reverse.
Waiting for the facts, not the narratives
At the moment, the only certainty is that we are faced with a complex case, in which very serious accusations coexist with denials, cross-complaints and materials still to be analysed. Everything else belongs, for now, to the realm of declarations and reconstructions.
The news, in this phase, can only record what is said and what is investigated, keeping the conditional as a compass and postponing any judgment until the facts – and not the narratives – speak.
