Saloni, the first edition of Fashion Link Milano kicks off

The ecosystem brings together over 1700 brands at Fiera Milano Rho. Focus on the autumn/winter 26/27 collections of footwear, accessories, jewelery and fur.

Everything is ready for the start of Milan fashion week. Kicking off the week is the first edition of Fashion Link Milano, the event that brings together Micam with 790 exhibitors linked to the world of footwear under one umbrella: Mipel with 180 collections in the name of bags and accessories; Milano Fashion & Jewels with 600 brands, The One Milano with an assortment of 120 brands including outwear and furs and the bridal universe of Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni. For the first time, the exhibition itinerary, concentrated in the spaces of Milano Rho Fiera, includes a single entry ticket which allows you to discover the new products for the next cold season of 1,777 brands, of which 45% come from abroad. Specifically, today Milano Fashion & Jewels, The One Milano and Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni are inaugurating, while from tomorrow it will be the turn of Micam and Mipel. For Fashion Link Milan, scheduled from today until February 24, it is a dress rehearsal in view of next September’s edition, which will also see the tannery events, namely Lineapelle and Simac Tanning Tech, join together. The heart of the initiative is pavilion 5, where the ecosystem highlights the synergies of the various sectors as explained by Claudia Sequi, President of MIPEL and Assopellettieri, “MIPEL represents a strategic moment for the entire leather goods supply chain. In a complex phase for the sector, it is essential, in fact, to preserve the points of reference and continue to create spaces for openness, discussion and business opportunities, with particular attention to the small and medium-sized enterprises that constitute the backbone of the sector In this context of profound transformation, the project Reinventing MIPEL represents a concrete response to the challenges of the global market. The move to Pavilion 5 is not a simple logistical choice, but a strategic operation that guarantees centrality and visibility within the exhibition centre. Thanks to the collaboration with the Lombardini22 studio and through the creative concept of the new promotional campaign, the exhibition space has been transformed into a real Observatory on the world of leather goods, where the new layout, more fluid and intuitive, enhances the visitor experience and the excellence of the product. This evolution allows us to offer a cutting-edge trade fair platform, capable of highlighting Italian know-how and attracting international visitors and buyers with a contemporary and engaging language”. A development that becomes synergy when skills meet in the format @M&M-The Hub, which brings together The Factory Hub of Mipel and The Academy Hub of Micam. “The strength of the event lies in its ability to combine tradition and innovation, encouraging dialogue between companies, distribution and global markets”, continued Giovanna Ceolini, president MICAM and Assocalzaturifici, “with the aim of enhancing the footwear supply chain, restoring a contemporary image of the sector and offering an immersive experience in which business, entertainment, training and innovation intertwine in a project path tailor-made for buyers and exhibitors”.
