Sanremo 2026, the first evening lineup: the release order of the 30 Big, all the guests, the co-hosts and the times of the debut at the Festival

The countdown is over. This evening, February 24th, the lights will be turned on Sanremo Festival 2026 and the Ariston Theater returns to being the gravitational center of Italian music. Thirty Big names competing, only one jury called to vote – that of the press room, TV and web – and a provisional ranking that will reveal only the first five songs, in no order of placement.

To the management Carlo Contiflanked by Laura Pausini – a fixed presence throughout the evenings – and by the Turkish actor Can Yamanfresh from the television success of Sandokan. With him, in a symbolic passage between generations, too Kabir Bedihistoric face of Sandokan from 1976.

The opening is entrusted to Ditonellapiaga, the closing to Lda and Aka 7even: in the middle, a musical marathon that promises rhythm, nostalgia and some surprises.

The guests of the first evening

Super Tuesday guest is Tiziano Ferrowhich celebrates 25 years of “Xdono”, the song that launched him on the Italian scene in 2001. The set will be a journey through his successes, with a special moment: the first live performance of the new single “Sono un grande”.

Gaia will perform on the stage of the Suzuki Stage in Piazza Colombo, while the connection with Max Pezzaliaccompanied by the winner of the 2025 edition, Olly.

There is also room for a presence that spans the history of the country: Gianna Capaldi Pratesi, 105 years old, among the first Italians to have voted in the institutional referendum of 1946.

Times: when it starts and when it ends

The appointment is scheduled for 8.40pmimmediately after Tg1 Primafestival. The closure, by ladder, is expected around1:25. Immediately afterwards, space for the DopoFestival from the Teatro del Casino of Sanremo, hosted by Nicola Savino together with Aurora Leone, Federico Basso and Enrico Cremonesi.

A first evening that promises to be long, dense, and – as always – decisive for understanding the moods and directions of this Sanremo 2026.
