Exclusive interview, dedicated voice commands and ironic Easter eggs: Jalisse are back as protagonists in Sanremo from the Alexa Cloud
There is a ritual that at the Sanremo Festival seems to last longer than Ariston’s hits and bouquets: the exclusion of Jalisse. After years of closed doors and “you’re not in the running”, Amazon is thinking of flipping the script: with Amazon Alexa, the duo finally finds space, with a tailor-made rewritten Festival lineup. Between dedicated voice commands, unexpected responses and jokes that openly play on the saga of exclusions, the Alexa Cloud becomes the alternative stage where the Jalisse are finally welcome.
The exclusive interview with the duo
For the first time, Jalisse are the protagonists of an exclusive interview where Alexa is the one asking the questions. Saying «Alexa, I miss Jalisse», users will be able to listen to a ironic and irreverent conversation between the voice assistant and the duoin which Jalisse will talk about the 29 exclusions from Sanremo, the victory that made them legends and their love for the Festival. A vocal experience not to be missed, between humor and curiosity about the history of Jalisse.
But that’s not all: asking «Alexa, take Jalisse to Sanremo» And «Alexa, are Jalisse taking part in Sanremo?»users will receive rotating responses such as «Jalisse are not participating in the Festival again this year. The artistic director closed PowerPoint without saving” or “Still no Jalisse on stage. Viewed at 6.42pm. Then silence.” Each response will be followed by the voice of the Jalisse who comment with their self-irony.
Furthermore, during the week of the Festival, the voice assistant reserves a series of surprises hidden in the daily commands for the Jalisse. From February 24th, to the greeting «Alexa, good morning» and the questions «Alexa, how are you?» And «Alexa, do you like Sanremo?»Alexa will start to respond, but will be immediately interrupted by Jalisse themselves who will chime in with ironic jokes like: «But how? We who thought you were Jalisse fans and turned your back on us at the first opportunity!”. And how can you blame him!
Alexa thus becomes the point of contact between the living room, the city of flowers and the iconic duo most excluded from the Festival ever. In short: if they continue to be missing on stage, Jalisse will not go unheard in Italian homes this year.
Alexa talks about the Festival night after night
The now inevitable experiences for those who follow Sanremo with Alexa are back. During the evenings of the event, users will be able to rely on Amazon’s voice assistant to comment on everything that happens on stage. Alexa will update hers in real time report cards after each performance, covering artists, hosts and show highlights. Therefore starting from February 24th, saying «Alexa, tell me the Sanremo report cards»you will be able to listen to the votes assigned to the protagonists of the evening by Alexa. If, however, you want to know the opinion on a particular artist, just ask «Alexa, tell me the rating of (artist name)» or «Alexa, what rating did you give to (artist name)?».
For those who like to anticipate, Alexa will offer its prediction on the winner of the Festival. Starting February 20th, all you have to do is ask «Alexa, who will win Sanremo 2026?» to find out which name, or names, the voice assistant already sees at the top of the ranking. Finally, users will be able to ask «Alexa, will you watch Sanremo?» to discover his point of view on the Festival, with curious comments on the evenings at the Ariston.
Between merciless report cards, risky predictions and new voice commands to be discovered, Alexa transforms Sanremo into an experience to be played, evening after evening. In this game, Jalisse stop being the side note of the Festival and become the most ironic refrain of the whole experience.
Alexa thus confirms itself as the ideal company for experiencing the Festival from the sofa at home with an eye always on what is happening at Ariston. And this year, with Jalisse as special guests in the Cloud, even those who have always remained outside the Ariston finally have their own stage.
