Between accusations, denials and discovered documents, the murder of Chiara Poggi in Garlasco continues to be intertwined with new judicial scenarios.
The twists and turns surrounding Garlasco’s murder continue: even those who knew Sempio well make disconcerting statements, while the ping pong of insinuations and denials continues.
The friend of Example
Adding fuel to the fire was Roberto Freddi, a friend of Andrea Sempio and Marco Poggi at the time of Chiara’s murder in 2007. Speaking on Massimo Giletti’s show, “The State of Things”, Freddi released a statement on the receipt that aroused amazement: «The receipt? Is it possible that no one understands this? It’s not an alibi, it’s a clue.” On Alberto Stasi he then added: «The investigation started because those who are now in prison, rightly or wrongly, went looking for him. He brought negative attention to himself.”
The father of Example: «we live like prisoners»
Giuseppe Sempio, father of the suspect, continued to reiterate on Mattino 5 that “a persecution is taking place” against his family, pointing out: “We have been living as prisoners since 2017, but we are strong: the truth must come out”. Instead addressing the hypothesis of corruption of the former prosecutor Mario Venditti, Sempio’s father commented: “This is absurd, we haven’t corrupted anyone.”
Among other things, details continue to emerge about the Carabiniere Antonio Scoppetta, involved in the Clean investigation and who considered himself Venditti’s right-hand man. As reported by the Truth, the marshal would have used a hotel room over 30 times, taking advantage of favorable prices, also to meet with a prosecutor.
The complaint from the Poggis’ lawyer to Sempio’s mother
Also in Giletti’s broadcast it also emerged that the lawyer who defends the Poggi family, Tizzoni, has sued Andrea Sempio’s mother, Daniela Ferrari. «Some colleagues are assisting me in multiple services to protect my image and as part of this activity I know that he has sent legal documents to Mrs. Sempio, I won’t say beyond that. And I imagine the investigators who seized those documents will certainly have the competence and intelligence to understand the dynamics exactly”, Tizzoni announced. The complaint would be the consequence of Ferrari’s words: he had previously declared that the Poggis’ lawyer would have received documents “free or for a fee” relating to the 2017 investigation file.
The seizure of the computer of Example
Last September 26, during the last searches, Sempio’s work computer was found and seized. The newspaper revealed it Timewith the news later confirmed by qualified sources. Sempio’s lawyer, Angela Taccia, tried to shed light on the matter, commenting: «It’s not a phantom PC. It is simply the laptop that the employers gave to Andrea Sempio so he could work smart on the days when there were too many journalists in his workplace.” Reason why “it was not found in the May search because that PC was only handed over to Sempio later by his company to allow him to continue working without being exposed to the media pillory in the workplace”. And he concluded: «All this was also well specified in the search reports of 26 September. Everything is clear to the authorities.”
The manuscript of the memorial of the nephew of Savu
Taking a step back, in June, Cleo Stefanusci, nephew of Flavius Savu (convicted of extortion against the Bozzola Sanctuary), had delivered a memorial in which he alluded to the hypothesis of a connection between the murder of Chiara Poggi and the scandals of the Sanctuary. The manuscript of the memorial was found in Sempio’s house. His lawyer, Angela Taccia, also wanted to clarify that it is “a photocopy, and not the original of the manuscript”. And she says that it was she herself who delivered it to her client: «I had found it on the Internet and a journalist had also passed the photocopy to me: I wanted to check if FlaviusSavu’s nephew really defined Bertani in that manuscript (thesuicidal friend of Andrew ExampleMichele Bertani, ed) the thug and Sempio the sadist. In that manuscript it only talks about prostitution rings that took place at the Sanctuary and there is no reference to my client.”
