During the celebrations for his 20 years of kingdom, Alberto II of Monaco pronounced a speech full of emotion that touched the heart of those present. In front of the crowd gathered on the churchyard of the Palais Princier, the sovereign wanted to dedicate words heard to his wife Charlene and children Jacques and Gabriella, defined as “my safe harbor”.
Visibly moved, Alberto stopped with his broken voice, while the twins approached to embrace him, followed by an affectionate gesture of the princess. A moment of rare public tenderness that has returned the most intimate image of the prince, away from the protocol and close to its people.
