Between iconic returns, new faces and the debut of Emily Ratajkowski, the New York show marks the rebirth of the brand between glamour, inclusiveness and awareness.
The show that for over two decades embodied the dream of American sensuality is back. The 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, hosted at Pier 36 in New York and streamed live on Amazon Prime Video, YouTube and TikTok, marked a new chapter for the brand. A balance between memory and renewal, between the wings of the past and the new grammar of inclusiveness.
A cast between past and future
The catwalk brought together legendary faces and new protagonists. Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel and Behati Prinsloo brought back the glamor of the golden years, while Angel Reese, the leading athlete of American basketball, broke traditional boundaries by becoming the first professional sportswoman to parade as an “angel”.
Alongside her, Gabi Moura, Yumi Nu, Precious Lee and Iris Law represented the new direction of Victoria’s Secret, where beauty is no longer a uniform concept but a plurality of forms and identities.
The opening was entrusted to Jasmine Tookes, very elegant and radiant in naturally showing her pregnancy, a powerful image of conscious and no longer idealized femininity.
Among the most anticipated moments of the evening, the entrance of Emily Ratajkowski in her debut on the brand’s catwalk. The model and actress embodied the new philosophy of Victoria’s Secret, an icon of self-determination who made the freedom of the body her public signature.
There was no shortage of other notable presences. Barbara Palvin, despite a broken foot, walked the runway with professional grace, while sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid once again shared the catwalk.
An all-female soundtrack
Even the music followed the line of the new course. No male headliner, but an entirely female lineup. Missy Elliott closed the night with a powerful performance, fronted by Karol G, Madison Beer and K-pop group TWICE, who turned the runway into a global concert. Lights, projections and futuristic choreography marked the different acts of the show, each dedicated to a theme linked to the metamorphosis of the body and identity.
