the couple (broke up) can meet again at Juventus

Sensational opportunity at the end of the transfer market: Juventus has put Mauro Icardi in their sights and could reform the (explosive) duo with Luciano Spalletti. Without Wanda Nara…

Some stories don’t end, they go around immensely and sometimes come back. The truth, however, is that not all returns are the same and that of Mauro Icardi in Italian football he would have the estimates of the sensational twist at the end of the winter transfer market session. The Argentine striker, a man who scored 124 goals for Inter before his painful divorce, is in the sights of Juventus who is desperately looking for a Puntero to join David.

The most incredible aspect, however, would not be seeing Icardi in the black and white shirt, given that almost six years have now passed since the end of his history at Inter. What makes everything extremely suggestive is that none other than Luciano Spalletti, the coach who was entrusted with the task of de-carding Inter, wanted him back in Italy.

Precisely him, the one with the captain’s armband withdrawn with a press release and given to Handanovič, with the knee injury that never ended, with the outbursts on television and with the benches once he got off the Aventine, the striker who in Milan paid above all for the intrusiveness of his wife and agent Wanda Nara.

Spalletti recently reconstructed those tension-filled months, explaining how the woman’s rash words had made the rift between Icardi and his teammates in the locker room irreparable. Now the showgirl is no longer at Icardi’s side and this makes it easier to imagine a new coexistence between player and coach.

From a technical point of view, Icardi, although no longer a regular at Galatasaray who invested a mountain of money in Osimhen, remains a striker who guarantees a decent turnover in terms of goals. In the first half of this season he has already reached 10 in 29 appearances, although he is still without a goal in the Champions League, where he has accumulated some match time (182 minutes).

The serious knee injury cost him a step back in the hierarchy. However, he knows the mechanisms of Italian football and the defenses of Serie A perfectly and is the penalty area man who can be useful to Juventus, who are desperately looking for someone who doesn’t struggle to score. This is why the contacts between the club and the entourage are not simply one rumor among the thousands that go crazy at the end of the transfer window. Whether it will be a story to be told again is to be understood with a deadline of 8pm on Monday 2 February.
