the Equal Opportunities Committee is now looking for a man

The Equal Opportunities Committee of the National Magistrates Association is made up only of women and now they are looking for a man for the “blue quota”. The case reignites the debate on currents, merit and career management.

The knot of currents and merit

Now, I ask myself: but all this adversity to the magistrates’ draw which would not reward merit but chance, endangering the same presumed merit that in recent years has guided the Association and the Csmgruel and fat, in governing the careers and sanctioning the wrong conduct of the magistrates, well, this condemnation comes from an Association that is not even capable of setting up a commission for equal opportunities? Sorbole, how efficient. Oh, by golly, what exemplary functioning and what, we would say, obsessive attention to merit.

After such a fool, the menu for a dinner between fellow magistrates and magistrates should also be entrusted to the draw. It really takes courage and even a certain amount of shamelessness to maintain that in these long years within the components of the Csm with clear different political orientations, left, center and right, have been privileged competence and the merit in the advancement of careers and above all that we have been impartial in the judgment of wrong behavior and actions clearly outside the scope of magistrates, men and women, prosecutors and judges.
