The first images of the fifth season of Emily in Paris they transport us to Rome, where Emily has taken over the reins of the Agence Grateau. The arrival in the Eternal City will mark a new professional and personal chapter for her. Between the charm of the Italian squares and the frenetic pace of working life, the protagonist – played by Lily Collins – will have to learn to juggle creative challenges and unexpected romantic dynamics.
But not everything will go as planned. A project on which Emily has great expectations will instead turn out to be a failure, bringing with it disappointments that will affect both her heart and her career. In search of balance, the young manager will take refuge in the most familiar traits of her French style, between elegance and spontaneity, until an important secret threatens one of the closest bonds of her life.
