18 out of 21 anarcho-insurrectionist attacks in the EU occurred in Italy. But the left continues to denounce the return of fascism
Fascism is back. Black shirts, squads of violent police and an authoritarian government that protects them. This, at least, is the defense version, as a famous joke went. The version of a left that, having no ideas, having no argument, attacks the right by pulling the “rabbit of fascism” out of the hat. Too bad it doesn’t work, and in fact it backfires every single time at the polls. The story is old, but above all it is false.
In reality it’s the exact opposite: 18 anarcho-insurrectionist terrorist attacks out of 21 registered throughout the European Union in 2024 they occurred in Italy. The data emerges from the 2025 report of Europol (the EU Agency against international crime and terrorism), and illustrates an uncomfortable reality for the left and unfortunately also for our nation: we are by far the first in Europe for red terrorism. A horrifying record that no one talks about, hidden under the carpet of public debate while opposition leaders, radical chic intellectuals and the progressive press continue to denounce the unlikely return of the black squads and to persist with their touching yet counterproductive obsession with the Twenty Years.
Living in the past, unfortunately, they pretended not to understand what is happening in the present: black violence is not returning, but rather the red violence of the anarcho-communists. Too often protected by the deafening silence of those who prefer to focus on non-existent and prehistoric threats rather than face real and current ones.
The left-wing violence that you don’t want to name
The Europol report, relaunched on 2 February by Mediaset journalist Leonardo Panettaconfirms what the news now reports on a daily basis: Italy has become a European catalyst for red political violence. Yet, this fact, which to describe as alarming is euphemistic to say the least, was greeted with an almost paternalistic silence. Eh, but they have the right values, inclusive and progressive ones. Maybe they will become the future ruling class of the left.
Appreciated and defended with drawn sword by an opposition that systematically attacks the policewhich protect Italian security constantly threatened by Maranza, illegal immigrants and anarcho-communists. Now they are only capable of stammering incoherent phrases such as: eh, but fascism… eh, but Meloni… eh, but the government… The treatment reserved for the criminals of the social centers is sweet, however. After all, they are still “good guys”, let’s leave them be. Other than those violent cops. They need to be beaten and hammered. And woe betide if another policeman intervenes and shoots to try to save himself or his colleagues. Now that’s a life-sentence criminal.
The left does not see, does not hear, does not speak
The violence last Saturday in Turin, although (reasonably) shocking, is not that surprising. They are just the latest episode of a consolidated trend that has transformed our nation into the European reference point for anarcho-insurrectionist attacks. As much as 85% of the European Union’s red terrorism is concentrated in Italy. A fact that should require deep reflection, e.g at least a dutiful condemnation on the part of more moderate progressives (excuse the pun). On the contrary, total silence dominates.
The public debate remains focused on something else. On the neo-fascist bogeyman, on phantom threats while the real ones (of red origin) strike undisturbed. But you know, the left, faced with reality, has always been blind, deaf and mute. He sees, hears and speaks only of his own fantasies. Then, however, the election results take care of her returning to the real world.
