Suspicious transfers and 30 thousand euros vanished: former prosecutor Venditti investigated. The pizzino re -emerges as an echo of the past never closed.
Everything starts from the bank accounts: checks out of the paternal aunts, more than 40 thousand euros that end up to Giuseppe Seveio, father of Andrea. From there, cash withdrawals for over 30 thousand euros, disappeared without trace. An anomalous flow, the investigators explain, “completely incongruous compared to ordinary handling”. This is the heart of the new investigation that once again shakes Garlasco.
The former prosecutor under investigation
The name that appears in the documents is that of Mario Venditti, a former Pavia prosecutor. The Brescian magistrates enrolled it for corruption in office deeds: the hypothesis is that that money served to facilitate the position of Andrea Semplio, the only investigated for the murder of Chiara Poggi. The accusation is heavy, capable of questioning years of investigations and processes.
The intercepted voices and holes in the brogliacci
There is more. In 2017, some interceptions between Andrea and his father disappear by the brogliacci, others are transcribed in a incomplete way. The dialogues that remain, however, suggest a preventive knowledge of the questions that would have been asked in question. “If you put on you some questions that don’t … you say you don’t remember,” the father suggests. “Yes, I know,” the son replies. Words that sound like a script.
The pizzino that returns
And here he re -emerges the forgotten sheet in a drawer: “Venditti gip archives x € 20.30”. A note written – Giuseppe Semplio himself admitted – but without clear meaning, at least according to the family. “Maybe money for stamp duty, maybe legal expenses,” he tries to explain today. But it remains there, like a shadow that stretches on the present.
Defenses on TV
“They are crap,” says the mother, Daniela Ferrari, live a Fourth degree. “We don’t know Venditti, we haven’t corrupted anyone.” The family speaks of checks used only to cover the costs of lawyers, of cash necessary to pay more and more expensive defenses. Yet the inconsistencies remain: money that passes by hand, never justified sums, notes that are not canceled.
The tiredness of the Poggi family
Meanwhile, on the other hand, Chiara’s voice is almost off. Giuseppe and Rita Poggi no longer speak, they entrust only a few words to the lawyers: “We are exhausted, beyond the exhaustion”. After 6,620 days, every twist is only a new tear. Justice looks like a stage that never closes the curtain, and the pain of the Poggi remains there, motionless, like the scene of a drama that repeats itself indefinitely.
Endless yellow
Garlasco continues to be a labyrinth of slopes, hypotheses and twists. The money, the prosecutor, the interceptions, the pizzino: each added card does not make the image, but the crushing. And the question remains suspended: this story will never end or is it destined to remain an infinite cluedo, where the victim is always the same and the truth moves away at every step?
