We are moving towards the final phase “Energy for the future of exports”the traveling Roadshow of SACEthe Italian Export Credit Agency owned by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, born as structured listening path of the Italian productive fabric and as a tool for direct dialogue with businesses in the territories.
A journey that, in just over two months, crossed Italy from North to South – Milan, Venice, Naples, Bari, Bologna, Florence – and flew to Dubai, the only international stage of the Roadshowdedicated to comparison with Italian companies active in the Gulf markets and local counterparts. Beyond 1,300 kilometers routes in the Peninsula e more than 300 companies mettransforming SACE’s territorial offices into real ones Business Housesplaces for operational discussion, collection of ideas and construction of solutions.
An engaging listen companies of all sizes and from the main production sectors – from manufacturing to instrumental mechanics, from textiles-clothing to agri-food, from pharmaceuticals to services – and which has placed the companies at the center of each stage of the Roadshow. Not simple participants, but active protagonists of the comparisoncalled to share experiences of international growth, concrete testimonies and moments of operational exchange with other companies. An open and participatory dialogue, also enriched by sessions speed thinkingdesigned to encourage rapid comparison, the contamination of ideas and the circulation of solutions between companies facing similar challenges on foreign markets.
This listening path now finds its own moment of synthesis and restitution in January in Romefinal stage of the Roadshow. An appointment that represents not only the end of the journey, but above all a point of systematising the ideas that emergedthe priorities identified and the development trajectories on which SACE intends to strengthen its commitment alongside Italian companies.
Export support: SACE’s mission
The Roadshow was also an opportunity to reiterate the SACE’s mission: to support the export and internationalization of Italian companiesvalorising a key factor in the country’s economic growth. A path that reaffirmed the strategic role of exports as a lever for development and competitiveness and has placed at the center the need for greater diversification of outlet markets, an essential element for reducing the risks linked to geographical concentration and seizing new growth opportunities.
In a complex global context, exports continue to represent one of the pillars of the stability and development of the Italian economy. Firms active in foreign markets show higher levels of productivity, innovative capacity and resilienceand international experience contributes to accelerating growth paths, strengthening the overall competitiveness of the country system.
From direct discussions with companies, the priority directions that will guide SACE’s future action emerged, in particular: competitivenessto consolidate the presence of Made in Italy on foreign markets and geographical diversificationto intercept the opportunities of high-potential markets and strengthen the resilience of Italian exports.
The final stage in Rome will therefore represent a moment of synthesis and directionin which SACE will share the evidence that emerged during the Roadshow and reaffirm its role in supporting exports, alongside Italian companies, in Italy and around the world.
