Last days to obtain the recalculation of the amounts of the single check. Who is involved, how to do, what changes with the calculation reform
Latest days to update the ISEE 2025 and do not miss the backlogs of the universal single allowance, from March onwards. June 30 is a decisive deadline for millions of Italian families with children. The delivery of the allowance continues, automatically, but not acting means renouncing higher amounts, calculated on the real family economic condition, and receiving only the minimum figure (57.5 euros per month per child), against a maximum that can exceed 200 euros.
Whoever risks losing the backward backgrounds of the single allowance and what should be done
The deadline of 30 June concerns all families with minor children, under 21 charged, or disabled children of any age, who have not yet submitted the single substitute declaration (DSU) for 2025. The single check is a structural and automatic measure: those who have already submitted an application in the past continues to receive it without further requests. However, the amount paid by INPS depends exclusively on the updated ISEE. Without renewal, only the basic amount was paid from January on, with potential economic damage of over 140 euros per month for each child for the lowest income. Those who update the ISEE by 30 June will be able to receive the recalculation of amounts from March to June. After that date, it will still be possible to update the indicator, but the recalculated amounts will only start from July, without retroactive adjustments. To obtain the recalculation, simply submit the new declaration through CAF, patronage or independently on the INPS portal. It is not necessary to submit a new application for a single check, but it is mandatory to communicate any variations in the composition of the family unit.
ISEE reform effect on the single allowance: government bonds excluded up to 50,000 euros
The urgency to update the ISEE is also linked to the reform entry into force in April which since 2025 excludes government bonds, postal fruits and postal savings booklets from the calculation of up to 50 thousand euros. The change has pushed tens of thousands of families to recalculate the indicator to obtain a higher check. According to INPS, over 75 thousand dsu per day were presented in April, +60% compared to 2024. However, the actual impact on the ISEE value was limited: only 17.4% of families asked for a new calculation, and the greatest benefit is recorded among singles, with a reduction of the indicator up to 19%, against the average 6% for large families. From June 16, the new automatic procedure for pre -filled Isee directly excludes government bonds within the limits provided. For those who fill out the model in self -declared mode, however, it is necessary to manually insert the reduced values relating to the balance and the average stock of the postal booklets. The ISEE update with the new rules can significantly change the amount of the single check. For 2025 you are entitled to 57.5 euros per month per child with ISEE greater than 45,939 euros and it reaches 201 euros per month with ISEE less than 17,227 euros. Without updating your DSU, all these additions are zeroed.
