Maxwell defends Trump, doubts the suicide of Epstein and denies secret lists: from the use cards a mix of denials and shadows that make people discuss
No twist, no hot revelation on Donald Trump. From 337 pages of transcriptions released by the American Justice Department, the result of hours of interviews at the end of July between Ghislaine Maxwell and the deputy prosecutor Todd Blanche, a story comes out that mixes diplomacy, denials and some poisonous flash. “When I was with him he was a gentleman in all aspects, he was never inappropriate with anyone,” he says about the current US president. And he goes back: “I admire his extraordinary success in having become president”.
Trump’s memories and doubt about Epstein
Maxwell, today 63 years old and locked up for a twenty -year sentence for traffic and sexual abuse of minors, recalls that he met Trump in the 90s, before meeting Jeffrey Epstein. It describes as “friendly” but not close the relationship between the two. Then the phrase that weighs: “I don’t think Epstein took his life.”
A shadow in the prison corridors
No theory of the conspiracy from an espionage movie. “I don’t think he was killed because he blackmked someone,” he says. But the shadow of a prison corridor crime insinuates: “In prison, either they kill you or pay you: someone can pay a prisoner to do it in exchange for 25 dollars of assets for the canteen”. Meanwhile, for his collaboration, the Department of Justice has granted her a limited immunity. And, at the beginning of August, he was transferred to Bryan prison, Texas: lower security level, more freedom of movement.
The money and the defense line
On the 30 million dollars that the prosecutors support from Epstein, a short size: “They were loans for real estate investments and more”. No blind defense of the former partner: «I don’t say that he has not done the things he is accused. I’m not here to defend it. I did not participate in those activities ».
Powerful friends and denials
Bill Clinton? “Never received massages in my presence and never been to Little St James.” Prince Andrea? “I didn’t introduce him to Epstein, it’s totally false.” And for those who hoped in a compromising “customer list”, the answer is a bucket of frozen water: “He did not retain an archive of material against important acquaintances”. Nothing even similar to a secret video archive: “I have never seen any type of inappropriate video surveillance in any home”.
The houses of Epstein and the sigh of relief
New York, Caribbean, New Mexico, Paris: all the residences of Epstein pass under the lens of Ghislaine without producing the object of desire for half a planet gossip. And in Washington, London and surroundings, more than someone breathes a sigh of relief.
