Dove Cameron and Damiano David officially confirmed their engagement through a post shared on Instagram, putting an end to months of rumors and speculation. “It will be a beautiful year,” wrote the singer, accompanying some photos of the couple in which the engagement ring on Dove’s finger can clearly be seen.

Dove Cameron is an American actress and singer born in 1996, who rose to prominence above all thanks to her long collaboration with Disney Channel. He reached the general public with his double role in the series Liv and Maddiewhere she played two twins with completely different spirits, and later starred in hit musical films Descendants — as Maleficent’s daughter — becoming one of the franchise’s most recognizable stars while also solidifying her career as a singer. In addition to acting, Cameron has released several solo musical singles, including “Boyfriend”which allowed her to establish herself in the music industry beyond the confines of the small screen.
Throughout his career he has also addressed personal issues, such as coming out as bisexual and mental health challenges, sharing experiences with his fans and contributing to a more open discourse on these topics.
