In a few days, on September 1st, we will know the summer hit. RTL 102.5, like every year, will decree it with the Power Hits Estate at the Verona Arena, sold out with super guests and a thrilling live concert. The evening will be live on TV on channel 36 of RTL 102.5.
RTL 102.5’s Power Hits Estate, the most anticipated musical event of the Italian summer, turns 10. After the big party on May 31st at the Centrale del Foro Italico in Rome – where RTL 102.5 officially kicked off the summer – on Tuesday 1st September, at the Verona Arena, the big show of Italy’s first radio broadcaster will bring to the stage all the songs that have dominated radio airplay to decree the Power Hit of summer 2026. The tenth edition of Power Hits Estate was sold out, confirming the extraordinary success and the incredible appeal of the event, now one of the main musical events in Italy.
On stage all the most loved artists and the most played songs on Italian radio during the summer season. But it doesn’t end here, on the stage of the Arena di Verona there will be no shortage of great surprises, with many other great artists. And the following day, September 2nd, again at the Verona Arena, there will be Radio Zeta Future Hits Live, which writes the music of the future.
THE HOSTS OF POWER HITS ESTATE
The 2026 edition of RTL 102.5’s Power Hits Estate will be presented by Paola Di Benedetto, Matteo Campese, Giulia Laura Abbiati and Jessica Brugali.
This year too, the collaboration between RTL 102.5 and EarOne is renewed, the company that publishes real-time data on the songs most broadcast by radio and TV broadcasters in Italy, for the creation of the RTL 102.5 charts.
On Sunday 31 May, on the occasion of the Power Hits Estate in Rome, two rankings were launched: the weekly one, which decrees the first-placed song of each week, and the general one, which decrees the Power Hit of summer 2026. The rankings are based on the votes expressed by listeners, weighted with the data on radio airplay collected by EarOne, which considers a representative sample of over 150 radio stations, including national, regional and local radio stations. RTL 102.5 listeners expressed their preference for the songs in the charts and the votes were recorded via the RTL 102.5 Play platform.
THE AWARDS OF THE EVENING AT THE VERONA ARENA
On 1 September 2026, the power hit of summer 2026 will be proclaimed, i.e. the winning song of the RTL 102.5 Power Hits Summer 2026 award, during the great live show of Italy’s first radiovision, live from the Verona Arena.
In addition to the “RTL 102.5 Power Hits Estate 2026” award, the following awards will also be awarded during the evening, directly from the FIMI, PMI and SIAE associations: the “RTL 102.5 Power Hits Estate 2026 – FIMI” award to the best-selling Italian single in the period 29 May 2026 – 27 August 2026 (NIQ Italia data); the “RTL 102.5 Power Hits Summer 2026 – PMI” award to the most played independent single on the radio in the period 31 May 2026 – 28 August 2026; the “RTL 102.5 Power Hits Estate 2026 – SIAE” award to the song (published in the years 2025, 2026) most played in all musical events in Italy – from 1 June to 28 August 2026; the “RTL 102.5 Power Hits Top Album 2026” award to the best-selling album in the period August 2025 – August 2026 (from 29 August 2025 to 27 August 2026), (NIQ Italia data).
For the tenth consecutive year, the Verona Arena will once again host RTL 102.5’s Power Hits Estate event. With its history and its incomparable beauty, the Arena, which has seen the greatest artists in the world perform, confirms itself as the perfect place for the great show of the first Italian radio-vision. The Power Hits Estate represents the culmination and conclusion of the Italian summer. The show, which brings together the most popular hits of the summer and the most successful artists, will be an opportunity to say goodbye to the summer season with an evening full of music, emotion and lots of fun.
