The broad field studies the program to bankrupt Italy

Conte demands citizenship income, Schlein prepares the expropriation of private savings, Avs supports assets. The program should arrive by the end of the month

The wide field has announced that by the end of the month he will make public his program for the next elections, an inevitable step before deciding, through the primaries, who should be the left’s prime ministerial candidate. Yesterday there was a first meeting and they have already been organised ten thematic tables in which representatives of the parties called to be part of the progressive lineup will participate. As far as we are concerned, we can’t wait for our comrades to let us know not only by who they intend to be represented at the next electoral deadline, but above all what they intend to do if they win Palazzo Chigi.

At the moment we are stuck with many announcements, some of Giuseppe Contewho seems intent on reintroducing if not a Superbonus at least a super citizen’s incomea well-known workhorse of the 5 Star Movementwith which in the last elections the Grillini won the single-member constituencies in the South. As regards Avs, i.e. the red-green couple made up of Angelo Bonelli and Nicola Fratoianni, we understood that it is essential for them to introduce the assetsor a tax paid by those who have more than five million. A wealth from which to draw heavily to finance salary increases and pensions.

From Landini’s tax rates to the pragmatism of Italia Viva

Maurizio Landini instead he wants to tax those with an income of two million with the property tax, convinced that there are hundreds of thousands. The PDinstead, alternates promises of great changes, to ensure young people if not the right to happiness, at least the right to remain in Italy (even if no one has ever threatened to expel them), with a solemn commitment to accelerate the investments in renewables (forgetting that the Regions that have done the least in this sector are precisely those administered by the left). With regard to Italy alivethe party founded and also sunk by Matteo Renzithe program doesn’t exist, because everything is fine with the golden boy of the left: the important thing, in addition to being re-elected, is to continue to invoice millions.

The impossible synthesis of Elly Schlein’s 105 proposals

Twenty-two days – so many to go until the end of the month – can be many or few: it depends on the ability to summarize and be able to mediate between the various souls of the broad field, putting together the five-star proposals with those of those who, like Renzi, the only five stars he knows are those of ultra-luxury hotels. Of course, if we start from the PD program that yesterday, using the speeches of Elly SchleinIl Foglio summarized it in 26,000 characters, with 105 proposals and 18 chapters, it’s hard to find a summary. Above all, it seems impossible to find the money to finance everything, unless we foresee Italy going bankrupt within a year.

The secretary of Democratic Party with his latest interventions he promised students free books for all, psychologists galore in every school, compulsory education in affectivity in institutes of all levels (I can already imagine the conversations between parents and teachers of affectivity: the boy is committed, but he could fall more in love), free transport everywhere and homes for anyone, and, obviously, higher salaries for teachers and doctors. It seems that Schlein also wants to introduce a law to deal with heat waves.

Private savings, taxes and social security: the account of the progressive army

As regards economic measures, in addition to tax on extra profits of energy companies, which a bit like the one on cigarettes is a tax that fits well into any program that wants to ruffle the electorate and alienate the sympathy of investors, the Democratic Party seems to foresee the «mobilization of private savings»which said like this would seem like a sort of gold to the country, but it is even worse, because savers’ money would be diverted into private investments to relaunch the economy, with a fair risk of capital repayment. In other words, it is a question of proletarian expropriation, carried out in a workmanlike manner directly in the bank.

Among the brilliant ideas, in addition to reducing working hours with the same salary, there is the restoration of Woman optionor the possibility for women to retire earlier: it is not known whether – given the INPS situation – this means that men will retire later, compensating with their work for the contributions not paid by their partners. Obviously, there is also the intention of making those with high incomes pay more and this means that from 43%, those who earn above a certain amount, calculating the additional taxes, will end up paying to tax three-quarters of the salary and maybe even a little more.

The families of victims at work will be guaranteed free legal aid, i.e. a lawyer paid for by the State, and immigrants, in addition to that, will also be guaranteed free cultural mediator, again paid for by the taxpayer. And here, as I was saying, we are only dealing with the Democratic Party’s proposals deduced from the secretary’s speeches. I imagine that Conte, Bonelli, Fratoianni, Ruffini, Gabrielli, Onorato, Renzi, Magi, Acerbo etc. (I hope I haven’t forgotten some comrades from the wide field) will want to add more and therefore the bill for the Italians, in the event of the Brancaleone army of the left winning, will probably get longer, even if this already seems to me to be a program capable of emptying the state coffers. Having said that, we are on tenterhooks, eager to witness the birth of the document of the joyful war machine of Schlein and co. As far as we’re concerned, we’ve started the countdown. A bit like when NASA was preparing for the launch of a new spacecraft into space: minus 22, minus 21, minus 20… We will keep you informed when time X arrives, to prepare for the worst.
