At the Milano Film Festival the documentary “1.14” was presented – An Alberto Tomba Story ”
On the occasion of the Milano Film Festival, the documentary out of competition was presented at the Cinemino “1.14” – An Alberto Tomba Story “produced by Napapijri. It is an intimate portrait that reveals the most personal side of the legendary skier: “I have always been shy and introverted, then growing up I changed,” says Tomba, showing not only the champion “condemned to win”, but also the man behind the myth.
Nicknamed “La Bomba”, Tomb opens the doors of his home in Emiliaincluding a tired room of cups, trophies and pectorals from the race. The title of the documentary refers to that famous second and 14 cents ahead accumulated in the first heat of the slalom at Calgary Olympics from 1988a detachment that anticipated the conquest of gold.
